Mariah, 7, loves animals, dance, and summers in Provincetown. After back pain led to testing, her family heard the word no parent is prepared for: leukemia. Today she is back in school, back to dance, and continuing to make encouraging progress in her treatment journey.

After watching her brother’s experience with lung cancer, Elizabeth set her sights on the Falmouth Road Race. “I get to use my lungs to run miles and raise money for Dana-Farber,” she says. We can’t wait to cheer on Elizabeth at the Falmouth Road Race on August 16!

Seven years after completing treatment for endometrial cancer, Julie received the devastating news that her cancer had returned. “Knowing that I had the best team at Dana-Farber helped strengthen my fight to not only beat cancer, but thrive while doing so,” she says. Go, Julie!

For more than 20 years, the Rick Casey Memorial Team has walked in honor of Ricky, who passed of brain cancer at age 11. “We carry Ricky’s picture every year so no one forgets him,” says his mom, Margery. We walk for better diagnosis, treatment, and hope.

At just 23 years old, Caralynn relapsed from Ewing sarcoma. They had a full-time job and had just moved in with a friend. Caralynn was across the country from their family but knew that Dana-Farber was where they were going to receive the care they needed—and a chance to live a full life.

When Dan’s brother, Keith, was diagnosed with renal cell cancer, their family started raising money for Dana-Farber, hoping their efforts will improve outcomes for others so that families can get more time together. So far, they have raised more than $110,000 since 2024. Way to go, Team Skinny Pig!
