Have you retuned since last week?

The Ident Gallery @theident.gallery · 13/06/2026

An unusual pulsing ITV1 logo last night during 'Unwind'. The standard blue logo animated on, then the'breathing' logo appeared slightly offset from the usual position. It lasted the duration of the broadcast.

Was there myself a couple of weeks ago, mainly to see and photograph (he lies) a sign in my 'overweight 'g' collection' - something that I've commented on before. On the A75 in D&G the eastbound sign has the oddity. Also good to see the C road to GoF is still marked on a junction in Laurieston!

It may just be my old eyesight, but the gs in Corbridge and College look off to me, whereas the one in Wolsingham is perfectly fine. To me it seems as though the weights have been mixed up somewhere a long the line.

A bit obsessed with lower-case gs on road signs, especially the heavy g fairly predominant in NE England, but which I've seen has made inroads into SW Scotland too. This Wiki img has 3 variants - top right has gs with different tail lengths, and the heavy g lower left. Hmmm?! @showmeasign.online

ITV3 regularly shows its Cityscape ident, ITV Be finally used its Cityscape ident to close the channel, ITV1 played out a little used version yesterday, and even ITV2 now has its iteration in the regular rotation. So ITV4, where's yours?!
