Pete Hegseth announced that the firing-squad execution of Fort Hood mass shooter Nidal Hasan will be made public on December 3, at the same location where he carried out the massacre. They’re trying to take us back to medieval times.

He called them "roadblocks to orders that are given by a commander in chief." A lawyer who says an order is illegal is a roadblock. A general who listens to that lawyer is a roadblock. A soldier who refuses is a roadblock. Purging the officers who might refuse is how coups begin

Now it's one of the worst Ebola outbreaks on record, and they want $1.4 billion to clean up the mess they made. They defunded the prevention, and now want to bill you for the global emergency.

The White House wants $1.4 billion to fight the surging Ebola outbreak. Last year DOGE canceled the USAID contracts, and Elon Musk admitted it on camera: "we accidentally canceled Ebola prevention." Then they dissolved USAID. Fired the people who ran the response. And they pulled out of the WHO.

My favorite James Baldwin line: “There is a reason, after all, that some people wish to colonize the moon, and others dance before it as an ancient friend.”
