I gave a final choice (finish or refund) and when he continued hostilities I blocked him to end it. He then reached out on an alternate site and finally sent the refund via PayPal.

So, on another account I followed him from, and tagging him, I posted about the entire situation publicly. Shortly after he re-added me on discord, admitted to prioritizing other work over mine for over a year, made false claims about my finances, and resorted to hostile personal attacks

Obviously neither of those were ever delivered. In early 2025, I set a final deadline for resolution. Instead of responding, he blocked me on all platforms we were linked together on on my main account without addressing the paid deposit

Between August 2023 and late 2024, there was zero progress for about 16 plus months. He explicitly told me he needed to be "manually reminded" for updates, yet when I did, he told me "be patient" and "quit bugging" him. December 14th 2024, he promised 2 free pieces to make up for the 1+year delay

Oh boy does this remind me of a story and a half... I'm going to add my own thread here, a full, final timeline of my experience commissioning an artist It all started on August 25th 2023. I paid a deposit via cash app for a commission with the rest of the balance to be paid upon completion.

I'm still waiting to hear back with them to clarify the care instructions, though. It's a bit of a contradiction. They said the plush is machine washable but the wings are damaged by the wash, which is a problem because they're permanently attached. Hopefully they can clarify how to safely clean it.

Quick update on this Been in contact with support regarding the wings. They don't have full replacements available But last I heard at nearly 8:00 p.m. Pacific time last night, They were checking to see if they can send me material so I can attempt a repair myself.

Ended up having to wash mine after a mishap outside normal use. Didn't know how so I just threw it in the washer. ... The iridescent wings got damaged... :( There were never any instructions on how to clean and care for this thing included when it was shipped...
