THIS is how you write about the absurdity of this administration. It’s brilliant prose, full of irony and subtle humor, with a meticulous eye for the farcical details. No other approach could have adequately captured what happened in that room. All who chronicle this era should take note.

"Biden made the correct choice to protect his son against the powerful unfettered vindictiveness that is to come in a few short weeks. Let’s hope he uses what’s left of his waning days in office to stave off more of the inevitably impending horrors." ICYMI @kimwehle.bsky.social:

Feels like I'm just posting to the void since I'm just getting started here, but why not. I write a weekly newsletter, and this week I write about how far away from reading and critical thinking we’ve come. It's lacking in our education, COVID learning loss, social media attention spans, all of it.

We need to get back to reading and critical thinking

Because 2024 feels different from 2016.

These are some of my orchids I keep at work. They are sitting in a window on the 30th Floor. Happy Plants! Will be re-potted soon. I used to kill plants but my orchids seem to thrive. 💜

On Wednesdays I share pics of my Orchids. Since this is my first post here, I thought I would share one of my home plants. This particular stem has produced a second and it is in full bloom.
