Lowering the MMP threshold to 2.5% is just one of many excellent electoral system reforms my campaign has to offer. This policy makes MMP more proportional in NZ and results in more of a direct competition for votes. After all, votes are to be earned, not guaranteed. #nzpol

Universal Dental Care would be of great benefit to society if implemented. It would save many NZers lots of money a year and improve their long-term dental health outcomes. It is an affordable policy that can be paid through a big increase in healthcare spending that NZ desperately needs. #nzpol

Free Public Transport is the future of transport policy. Lowers emissions, lessens gridlock and is good for the environment in the long term. When combined with a lower GST rate, many people in society will save lots of money, thus helping the economy in the midst of a cost of living crisis. #nzpol

Banning Bottom Trawling is one of my campaign's core environment/wildlife related policies. It substantially reduces carbon emissions and overfishing simultaneously. Therefore making it a very effective policy that is both common sense and good for the marine environment at the same time. #nzpol

Legalizing Cannabis is a long overdue policy. It has the potential to raise hundreds of millions a year in government revenue and enable a medicinal cannabis industry to surge in growth, providing new job opportunities. It also frees up police resources to tackle bigger issues in society. #nzpol
