It's been a week since her surgery, and Ember is pretty much back to her normal self, minus me having to keep her laying around and no play, so she's pissed at me. It doesn't solve the maybe, maybe not cancer thing, but one day at a time. (1/6)

We are home, and after some antinausea meds I finally got her to eat some food. As long as she's okay after 24-48 hours then she will recover from the surgery. But I have some scary, potentially very bad news. (1/6)

I couldn't find a ride so I risked it and took my car. I had to spend $20 of the money donated for gas, and I only have enough gas to make it back home one time so I'm pretty much stranded an hour away from home in a heat wave. They were talking about a grant covering the base

I know I'm spamming everything but this is serious. If she even makes it tomorrow it will be a miracle, but even with the risk of surgery, if she can't get this help they are offering tomorrow she is not going to make it. If I had the money I wouldn't be begging on here for help.

A local spay and neuter clinic got back with me and said that it's risky, but if I can get her there they can do the surgery and provide some pain meds and fluids, but cannot provide other care. The estimate given is around $300-$350 for what they can do.

She's still not eating, and only wanting to lay in bed. Her stomach looks like it is swelling. I don't have the money to get her help, and every place I've reached out to or looked up requires that full amount besides the the emergency vet that requires the 50% before helping her.

Okay so I just got off the phone with the lawyer, used me being really sick as the main reason it was not paid, and I was told if I can get it paid today it shouldn't be that big of a deal since it is my first time, BUT I cannot continually be late.
