I say this as someone who is pretty lenient with standards : this was an AWFUL comic. The covers were GORGEOUS. The art and story felt rushed; it was like witnessing someone try to make a patchwork quilt out of items like silk, wet paper towels , and pieces of washcloth. #comics #comicsky

I'm SO behind on comics right now. I have STACKS of comics still in their bags and I'm tempted to stop buying comics until I finish them, but I'm afraid I will fall behind on so many stories. Maybe I will read a few titles through and then see if I want to continue with them. Sigh.

Another one of my older comic boxes fell apart and spilled out a bunch of comics. Some of you know of the Great Comic Avalanche of 2024 so this triggered me a bit 😅 I sorted through the spilled comics and saw I had two copies of the Obama and Romney Wins issues from 2012. What a time to be alive...

There were a LOT of messages and comments asking that I bring these prints back, so I caved and put them back up on my website for preorder :)

Spotify recommended something called a “ day list “ to me which is a playlist of tracks that match the mood for that day- afternoon-night. I’ve barely listened to my own playlist since lol Currently folding laundry ( and preparing for more laundry 😭) while jamming to this AM queue

#TheNewGods is kind of growing on me, but if it wasn't for the breath-taking art, I would have given up on it first issue. For a story that clearly has a lot of love thrown into the visual aspects, it annoys me how awful the onboarding is for new comers. Love the variants though! #comics #dccomics

Spent 40 minutes trying to figure out why my if statement wasn’t checking both variables for an empty string Only to find out I needed to put: If variable_1 ==“” and variable_2 == “” Instead of If variable_1 and variable_2 == “” I keep forgetting you have to script as if talking to a baby 🤦🏽‍♀️

The last time I tried to learn Python, some things were easy and other things like while loops did not make sense to me I tried again and I looked at the screen— everything moved around in my head and it made sense. Maybe last time, I just wasn’t in the right mindset 😭

Depression really eats up your memory. As I am reorganizing and scanning my collection into inventory, it’s like opening a time capsule; I forgot how much of a fan girl I was for Captain Marvel, Captain America, Batman and Carnage. It’s weird seeing what kind of person I was through comics lol

Hellverine #2 was not nearly as good as the first usury. I’m in no way saying that every issue should be phenomenal writing and art ( even though Kelly Thompson’s Storm manages to do that), but the quality dropped so low and it’s the second issue. #Marvelcomics #Comics
