Takami (🦊, they/them) is a force of nature ready to take on any fascist that dares to show their face. But if there are too many for one fox, they can count on Mason (🦘, he/him) and Gale (🐇, he/him) to back them up! #FurryArt #PixelArt #Art #DOS #EGA #Retro #Furry #OC #OCSky

High-res pixel art of arcade beat-'em-up heroes ready and eager to take on the horde of fascist troopers surrounding them. The trio are lit from the sides by off-screen flashlights. Front and center is Takami, a fennec fox in a fantasy ninja-esque outfit beckoning the bad guys to attack. To the left is Mason, a buff kangaroo man with a top surgery scar pattern wearing little more than a loincloth, ready to smash a thug's jaw. To the right is Gale, a muscular rabbit man with a huge gut and shorts with a karate belt framing his bulge, raising his arms and ready to grapple his foes. A city skyline looms in the background, and in front of it are silhouettes of men wearing caps, masks and tactical gear with only the whites of their eyes visible, brandishing police batons, knives and cattle prods. The fallen bodies and hats of defeated troopers lay on the ground in front of them. In the foreground, to the left and right, are a cattle prod sparking with electricity and the tip of a baton.

My skunk's back for another #Skunktember spectacular! Elijah Oluwade (he/him) is full of pride, a man of taste, and a hero to us all! #FurryArt #PixelArt #Skunk #Retro #DOS #Art #OC #OCSky #Art #Furry

DOS pixelart of three versions of a red-eyed trans skunk man with coily fur named Elijah Oluwade (he/him) in front of a trans flag aura background and standing on trans flag painted ground. In the middle is his usual self: he stands giving a peace sign with a white twist-out, a red shrug hoodie which shows off his post-op top surgery scars, red cargo pants, and red spats attached to white soles revealing the claws on his feet. To the left is his formal attire: he wears his coily white hair twists long but thin, and is walking while wearing a black newsboy cap, a red collared shirt with rolled-up sleeves, a black vest, red dress pants with white suspenders, and white dress shoes. To the right is his pre-op superhero identity: dressed in red, he stands poised to fight with his clawed fingers curled; glowing red eyes; wild unkempt white hair; a shredded hooded jacket with the front belt connected to frame his breasts, the hood cut to let out his long hair, and the sleeves torn in the middle leaving just the cuffs; a jockstrap with a ripped partial skirt on one side; and ripped-up braces on his elbows, knees and ankles.

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous. (alt text added)

A post from a FurAffinity developer blog which says:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters cant be posed or dressed "too provocatively."

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they're legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren't, we don't touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

Happy International Raccoon Day! Here's some art from a new project coming soon! Eddy the Cleaner about to take on the challenge of his life vs. the awkward photo they shot of him when he wasn't ready for it! #ANSIArt #TextmodeArt #IndieGame #PixelArt #FurryArt #Art

Smallscale ANSI art depicting an athletic raccoon man with long hair from an upcoming indie game jam game in two images. One shows him in green marathon running clothes with a long headband and running shoes with open soles, crouched with his hands on the ground and ready to start a race with determination in his eyes. The other is a portrait of him in a green polo shirt with a surprised, cartoony expression on his face, as if reacting to someone suddenly whipping out a smartphone camera right in front of him. Between them is the text "Eddy the Cleaner" in the classic IBM serif font.

In a city at night, a throng of people with animal features files into a huge, red and white-striped circus tent with two peaks. Inside the circus tent, a smiling ringtail person in a green leotard, wearing green gloves, thigh-high boots and bands on their tail, walks across a tightrope while holding a long wooden balance pole, with a massive audience watching below.

From the stage beneath the tightrope, a white skunk with a red mohawk, singlet and bracelets juggles red and white checkered balls. As the audience watches, a raccoon with long red hair and a blue dress dances with their hand gripping and pulling a line of light they are drawing in the air with a plasma pen.

In the circus audience, a muscular rabbit and a slender squirrel cheer with raised arms. As the satisfied audience leaves the circus tent, the muscular rabbit, in a blue tank top and white trousers, and the slender squirrel, in a cropped blue t-shirt and side slit skirt, hold hands as they walk, looking into each other's eyes.

For #Non-Binary Awareness Week, here's my performing artist Arthur Grandstone (they/them) sitting in the green room of the Circus of Dreams in a chair that they drew! See more versions on my site here! #FurryArt #ANSIArt #TextmodeArt #PixelArt #SciFiArt #Nonbinary #Art #Furry #SciFi #Enby #NB

A muscular raccoon person with a masculine body sits in the green room of a circus tent, with a vanity table and mirror behind them and a rug nearby. They are sitting on an ornate chair made of bright, curvy lines that they have drawn in the air using a pen, partially seen in the mirror's reflection. They are sitting in this chair with one knee lifted, their foot resting on the front rail, and one hand lifted holding the pen from which the lines making up the chair originate. They have long red hair, red eyes and eyeshadow, and are dressed in blue, wearing a tight-fitting leotard under a ruffled side-slit dress along with long gloves and thigh-high boots. They gaze at the viewer with a proud smirk.

Arthur Grandstone (they/them) puts on quite a show wherever they go! Using the air itself as a canvas, they draw crowds with their plasma pen dances, making lines in the air that they then play with. It is not to be missed! #SciFiArt #FurryArt #ANSIArt #SciFi #Furry #ANSI #Art #PixelArt

A smiling, non-binary raccoon person with a muscular masculine body, long red hair, red eyes and bright red eyeshadow dances on a stage surrounded by a packed and engaged audience. As they dance, the raccoon is drawing glowing cyan lines in the air with a pen and pulling one down with their free hand. They are dressed in blue, wearing a leotard, long gloves, thigh-high boots, and a ruffled side-slit dress with a skirt that flows with their movement. Above this display is a bust portrait of the raccoon, who has used the pen to draw elaborate patterns of curved lines and spirals, write the name "Arthur Grandstone", and the pronouns "they/them!". They smile at the viewer while holding the still-active pen in front of them, with a cyan line entangled in their other hand.

An integral element of the mutagian world is the arts, and not merely in the act of shapeshifting. With the burden of production eased in more humane societies, cultures throughout the world are free to create and appreciate as they see fit. Among the main beneficiaries of rising technology in the modern age are artists, who can use it to express themselves in unique ways.

To take just one example, Arthur Grandstone was an early adopter of the plasma pen as more than a construction assistance device. Its ability to create solid surfaces in mid-air became a means by which artists could use the air itself as a canvas. Soon, Mx. Grandstone incorporated it into dance performances that included drawing elaborate patterns that they would then interact with. They continue these performances to this day, with other artists iterating on the plasma pen in their own ways.

Wherever one goes with modern tech, art is sure to follow.
