Just because you are in a relationship with someone does not give them the right to have sex with you without your consent. It doesn’t matter if you are in a relationship for 1 day or 50 years, all parties must be consenting to sexual activity EVERY TIME. 1

Rape between married partners is a serious and prevalent form of domestic violence. In the United States, it is estimated between 10% and 14% of married women are raped by their partners. Approximately one-third or 34% of women report having “unwanted sex” with their partners—primarily due to marital obligation.

Inebriation can happen in many ways. We easily recognize someone over indulging in alcohol as a cause of inebriation, it can also be caused by mind altering substances, legal prescriptions & OTC meds that make you drowsy. If you won't enter a legal contract on it, it belongs in this category.
