Streamed Galactic Racer for 36 minutes while bebé napped today. I didn't hate it. I almost even missed it. I might do it again next week and see how it goes.

Oh my sweet baby bottle pop. Star Wars Galactic Racer is the racing game. I haven't had this much fun racing since Split/Second on the 360.

Okay. With Runescape: Reignited and RS4 in development, I'm feeling the RS itch again. Definitely going to jump into Reignited on Dec 2nd. I never gave it a proper play, even back in my 2002-2008 run, I mostly just stood around Varrock talking to friends.

This fight was pretty crazy. Lost about 5 times before this attempt. My parrying skills have increased a bit. #onimusha

It always changes, but these are my 9 albums (in order of finding first hearing them). Lists are hard and there were so many more I wanted on there.

Holding back tears watching this AEW Dynamite episode. It's a really nice tribute. Pac was always so great to watch.

Second mini since getting back home. Another #zombicide mini (James) from the Huntsman box. Tried some OSL for the first time in a while and I'm happy with it. #miniaturepainting #boardgames #tabletop #art

I painted an Orc Abomination from #zombicide Green Horde. I had an extra from an expansion. I kind of really enjoy how much improvement I've made. Left is new, right is 2018/2019. #miniaturepainting #boardgames

You can buy like 66 copies of Morrowind when it goes on sale instead of the GTA 6 collectors edition + game.

I know The Knight and the Moth is romantasy, it's cheesy--it's also kind of good. It just makes me giggle when everyone does everything "deeply" (ex. drinks deeply).

Took a bit to narrow down. I ended up doing 3 from childhood, 3 from my teens, and 3 from later in life. I hesitated to put SOT there because of my negative experiences but it was a game that brought me out of my shell socially. #My9Games

I need a new multiplayer or MMO game. I tried ESO after about 3 months and couldn't bring myself to play it. Halo MMC felt too toxic with quitters, griefers, and text chat the last couple of days. Space Marine 2 is nice but it's missing something. I almost even downloaded OS Runescape.

Way too many games this year that have me wishing I had unlimited funds (or didn't buy all those 360 games earlier this year). Fire Emblem, Ocarina of Time, Onimusha, Blood of Dawnwalker, Pokopia, LoK Defiance, Halo CE, Star Wars Zero Company+Galactic Racer, Gears E Day, MGS Col Vol2, FF Resonance.

Okay. Still going. I'm going to try to do at least one a day until Wednesday when I go on vacation--or until my neck gives out. Cassius from the Zombicide Green Horde Horde Box. #miniaturepainting #tabletop #art

I didn't know it was Freddy Mercury's birthday but I had an unpainted Great Zanzibar #zombicide miniature that needed painting. Those checkers were a pain, but I think I'm back in the groove. #miniaturepainting #art #boardgames

Hitch the Bard/David Bowie as my second #miniature today. Was going to play some Onimusha WOTS but ended up painting and listening to The Knight and the Moth audiobook. #miniaturepainting

TheGhostGalleon @theghostgalleon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Okay. Another #miniature down from today's paint session. Just the vanilla abomination from #Zombicide Black Plague. I might keep going Zombicide until they finally run out but I have a lot. I do sell minis and I take a little more time with those, but these are table ready.

Finally got some painting done after I don't even know how long (I think back when I painted some Elder Scrolls minis on stream). Not up to my usual standard but I got to know when to stop and move on to the next. #miniatures #zombicide

Wanted to see how Bebé would do playing #Doom TDA and he was so hyped up for the like 5 minutes he was on my lap. Wouldn't do it again as he was way too overstimulated since I don't play too many games around him anymore. He loved the soundtrack, though.

Friend is staying with us and had me play her favorite game: Ty The Tasmanian Tiger. About an hour in, I broke through the level and made my escape. Aside from the dialog, characters, and collect-a-thon game loop, it's good platforming.

Every time you bite into a date, you either: bite into a deliciously normal date, or you but into one of the nastiest rotten foods you can imagine. I learned to break them open to look inside and make sure they're good but I like living on the edge and just taking my chances.

I am shocked that bebé slept through all the fireworks last night. Probably thought he was visiting his Abue in Chicago or napping through Vilet and I playing Halo with him napping near us back when he was only a few weeks old.

TheGhostGalleon @theghostgalleon.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

I didn't think I'd see the day. Last few times I logged into ESO, I felt completely bored and logged out in under 10 minutes. I haven't done "everything" in it but I'm far from a completionist. Maybe after 10 years, it's time to uninstall for a while.

A few days late watching #AEWForbiddenDoor since we had company. I love pro wrestling. I'm glad my dad introduced it to us with AAA and then WWF later on. It's one of the few things I haven't really taken a break from.

After a few attempts, I got my PS1 working again. Also learned that a TV USB port can power a 1080 upscaler for the PS1. Plus, I got my #Retrofighters Defender wireless controller that works so well. Just need to find my old TV remote to center the screen and adjust brightness.

My boy turned 1 yesterday and had so much fun. My partner's brother and his wife+daughter are here (she's 9mo). He both wants her around and wants her to go away. He played in the pool, rode his baby bike, played with two dogs. He's so worn out every day.

Wow. Republican ads popping up on YouTube for me. They're like: "Woke liberal wants free lunches for kids and health care; they think immigrants should stay in the US and support DEI hires." Like say less, I'll vote for this woke liberal.

My first Father's Day. Seeing Bebé's face at breakfast as he tried new foods, and an evening Solstice festival where he danced in the grass to live music and took bites of Vilet and my pizza and ice cream, was just the best. I love him more than my heart can contain. He's the best.

Rediscovered jicama root. I used to have it from street vendors or my dad would cut some up for us when I was little. Just a little lime and Tajin and they were delicious. Glad Trader Joe's started selling some, but hopefully my local Mexican grocery store has them.

Only a quarter of the way into the 800+ page A Little Life, by Hanya Yanagihara, but it feels so authentic. It's as if I'm watching both the joys and miseries of life. I was skeptical during the first chapter but it really picked up.

Mortal Kombat 2 improved on so much that the MK 2021 movie fell short on, and made some good character choices and selections. It was just a blast from start to finish. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one.

Shaved everything except the mustache for the first time ever. Vilet had never seen my chin. I hadn't seen it since I was in high school (18 years ago). Bebé looks at me all tentatively and does a grimacing smile whenever he looks at me.

Went for a little walk in the mist with Vilet and bebé, and we saw a singular rose growing in the backyard (by the trash bins of all places) covered in tiny dew drops.
