This is where people likely split. On those rare situations where the movie does VG logic, it is slightly jarring because it happens in the second half. They come across as "movie mistakes" that slap you in the face after avoiding it for a bit. Then there's the last third/ending...

The positives: - There's a 99% chance that this movie was planned with a Scenario B in mind. - The scares work. Not transcendent, but it just works. - The MC is phenominal. Couldn't have asked for a better one. - No-adaptation was the right call. - VG logic/winks/nods are rarely forced. RARELY..
