this is a great analysis, screencapped cos the quote is too long to fit into bluesky:

YouTuber OzymandiasV2 argues that, seen through this lens, Clark’s ultimate decision to remain in the backrooms at the end of the movie is a great metaphor for generative AI users, saying that there are now no demands for Clark to “change, grow, or express anything resembling an original thought… He can exist without the exhausting labor of producing meaning. This is a similar promise that many find in generative AI.”

What if we went on a Big Walk that changed our lives forever and how we perceive our friendships, acquaintances, and strangers when stuck on an island for nearly a whole day and find our way out before we say goodbye? #BigWalk #BigWalkFanart #Fanart #illustration #DigitalArt #TGNart

An illustration of 8 Big Walk characters all running in a straight line between red poles, with their arms outstretched towards a gap in rock structure on an island. The sun is rising over an ocean with glistening water. Clouds scattered about the sky. The Big Walkers have various expressions or looking in different directions.

The island itself is has patches of red/green grass, dry dirt paths, and rocks of various sizes strewed about.

Same image as before but with a orangery gradient, mimicking sunset/golden hour color palette.

Same as the first image, but with a slight purplish-pink overlay to give it a more dreamy/whimsical look.

I think it's epic and awesome you can simply leave a marriage that isn't working out or cut off your parents/family who have been extremely shitty/toxic to you, and not frame it as if it's this wild, radical action that came out of nowhere and never ask the people who took those steps to leave "why"

I'm getting back into the groove with drawing again, and btw, so sorry I haven't been updating with the Art Drive character vote illustrations. Sometime this week, I will have new polls rearing to go, and we'll rapid fire them back to back just so we can get the votes in and get to drawing!

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

CSP being pressed to take even just /kissing/ off their asset store and FA being told that plus sized characters are considered adult should be a giant waving red flag to folks. Sex workers have /always/ been right to say these policies never stop with 1 type of content. They always wanna ban more.
