OK fine, new bike tire #ebike #ebicycle the old tire had rot on the sidewalls & was balding so much I slipped on the road paint while riding. (Very weird experience) Still cheaper than the car repairs I need. I even put in proper rim tape, not the usual duct tape.

Goji berries, basil.. did I say basil? When visiting a garden always take a harvest, even if it's simply a photo. #garden #gardenlikeitsadepression #guineapig #guineapigsafefood #permaculture

Garden update: warm season winding down.. and my one successful experimental aquaponic grow bed churns along nicely. It even has the potential to grow cucumbers.

Just to be clear.. I was ebiking on this thing, originally a cheap normal bike that i got from, (checks notes) Walmart, way before the current oil crisis.. or regime. I recommend everyone biking when they can. #ebikeadventures i simply don't tend to take pics of all my adventures on it.

"Sun dried" tomatoes all dried.. tastey too. Guinea pig approved, well, by the ones that like tomatoes anyway.. Pumpkin went all "ewwwwww" when I offered him some. #garden #gardenlikeitsadepression

Sharing my organizational method for my garden: google spreadsheets. 😀 high tech upgrade from the chalkboard used to organize the farm at the apprenticeship I went through last year. (GOOD AG PRACTICES) GAP records kept in case of RECALLS, especially composting records #gardenlikeitsadepression

Time to use some of my emergency chocolate. Granola balls. Ez to make and is why I keep an astonishing amount of nut butter in my pantry. Main ingredient? Old fashioned oats. The same oats I keep on hand for treats for my guinea pigs. The other ingredients depend heavily on my mood when mixing.

This batch only Granola balls: steel cut oats, sunflower seeds, wheat flakes, old fashioned oats, chocolate chips, salt, peanut butter, a splash of vanilla extract. Oh, and crushed pretzels.

So... this happened. Surprisingly its not as painful as it looks. Getting work gloves on over it will be.. interesting. My primary care doc is booked out for months; this was stitched up nicely by the local urgent care, but? They don't provide work accommodation notes.

Careful with your gardening tools. This one that I used was far sharper than I accounted for so I paid this price.

2am & super excited cause I figured out what I was doing wrong all this time with my sourdough: folding. Thanks to watching many yt videos I achieved bread, as opposed to a dense brick, with both crockpot loaves. It wasn't Homer the Starter's fault, afterall. D'oh!

Fixin' up some tofu. Boiling in salt water for about 20 minutes first helps the flavor, this time around im bothering with making it crispy, which means coating in corn flour then frying until golden brown.
