hey @support.bsky.team, how come you ban Palestinians for being 'scammers' and yet there's tons of generic accounts peddling AI nonsense? they're spamming liking followers of mine, all have the same format, and all pushing the same crypto scam that's been up for a relative while now

from elsewhere in this thread, putting here for brevity - it may be that this is a merging between the 75th Ranger Regiment emblem and the SS symbol, with perhaps some alterations to the sun to resemble the Nazi Black Sun. im unsure, the pic doesnt give enough clarity. either way, SS.

i saw. it may take some inspiration from this, perhaps a custom design, but it is not the same symbol. note the number of waves on the "S" and the lack of a pointy end. it looks to be an SS put over the 75th emblem, perhaps replacing the sun with nazi symbology too

bit of an honorary mention but i'd be remiss if i didn't bring up my by gerber suspension NXT. its a multitool, but god damn i love it. one of the few EDC gear i have that survived 2022. its the best supplement for a leatherman while still being affordable. & it has a knife blade on it!

up next is my kershaw filter. kershaw knives are my go-to whenever i want a nice cheap but sturdy beater knife. my first 'real' knife years ago was a kershaw cryo. the filter does a good similar job, and i use it whenever ive got a hard task. it does the job well, feels nice, def worth the $20

next, my gerber paraframe & paraframe mini. i EDC the paraframe mini since its cheap, reliable, and its clear that i just use it as a utility knife given its small size. i dont typically like gerber folding knives -theyre often v low quality and it shows - but the paraframe line is an exception!

I have never felt so much hope. This many people, each with their own lives, responsibilities, hopes, dreams, gathered together to protest the murder of an innocent woman. We didn't wait for permission, we just did it. And we were unified. Everyone was there for each other.

I didn't have the fortune of meeting her. But I did see the energy inspired by her memory - the vigil was solemn, people passionately chanting about her life, and the dangers ICE poses to our communities. Renee was a mother and a wife, her wife in the car as she was shot. She was an accomplished writer, a poet, and was beloved by friends and family. She cared deeply about her community. As we chanted her name, people held candles and phones, the scent of sage filling the air.

The vigil took up blocks upon blocks -- I couldn't see where it began and ended, and I could barely hear the speakers. I came a bit late into it, so I was mostly towards the very back of it, the sounds of music and chants rather distant from me.
