I haven’t responded to one of these recently so it’s more than a week old, but: Talked to my older, very conservative parents about my kid and that he is their grand*son* and that we not only accept but we support him in that. They responded in a more accepting and loving manner than I expected.

should be silenced. Seems fine so far. If a phone is not silenced, the person—who should be paying attention to the meeting—is kicked out of the meeting. This doesn’t fix the problem, but instead exacerbates the issue which is supposedly why phones should be off in the first place. 2/3
