I can't see a situation where they've been found guilty of 114 charges after such a long investigation, where city apparently had irrefutable evidence of their innocence, to then win an appeal. Obviously it could happen, but my word the fallout wouldn't be good.

Their so called best ref Micheal Oliver dropped the first weekend after the guilty verdict, having previously been paid by City's owners to ref in their homeland.

If they're not going to expel city, a points deduction for every season they're in the premier league for the next 5 years will suffice. A points deduction to relegate them this season then a 30 point deduction every pl season for 5 years there after, please.

I'm sorry to hear about your mum. His go to saying is "it is what it is", which I respect. I'm closer to my brother and sister since his diagnosis, which is great. My old man very much doesn't like a fuss so I've tried to avoid burdening him with anything more than "how are you feeling?".

I've spoken to my wife about it regularly, she lost her mum to cancer nearly 20 years ago. She's been great. He's terminal but treatable and I don't know if it's better that he's fine or worse tbh. 😅.

I tend not to discuss too much personal stuff on here but I'm taking my dad to a chemo session on Tuesday and frankly, I'm terrified. He's fine with everything and this is his 3rd session so nothing new for him. I've had trouble digesting his diagnosis so if you've had experience.... Any advice?

No issues with his work rate. He can be too wasteful, which I don't mind if it's probing passes but it's not. Also think the perception of him is completely different if players put away chances he creates. Only Fernandes, Dom and Enzo created more chances than his 61 last season in the PL. #lfc

A lot of people tracking Salah's performances, goals and assists and wondering what if. It's prudent to note, he's playing in the Turkish league. I love him but it's simply not comparable to PL. I'm happy he's doing well but we had to move on at some point, whether it was a year early or not. #lfc

Whatever appointment they go for, longevity needs to be heavily considered. We can't have an upheaval with the sporting director every other year. The SD needs to be one of the longest serving people. It's the only way to breed consistency through a club. #lfc
