I miss the days when I could just grab a pack of cards during checkout. Having to go through online retailers really just kills the vibe and makes it feel way more... optimized? It's just not as fun. :(

I have finally managed to draw a character that looks somewhat masculine holy crap. I do not know why this has been such a challenge.

Come tomorrow, I will officially be at 3 books published! And yes, the 4th one has been started!

TheFlyingFennec @theflyingfennec.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Spinning up the next book, Mire of Madness, and can happily say I’m WAY ahead on the cover art this time! Already got it mostly sketched out, so maybe I’ll finally be able to snag an artist so I don’t have to do it myself this time?

TheFlyingFennec @theflyingfennec.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

I had my first legit day off from all responsibilities yesterday in like... probably over a year. It was nice to just do whatever I felt like.

TheFlyingFennec @theflyingfennec.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Working on the sketch for the 4th book's cover. I think I may have just accidentally created my coolest villain.

000

TheFlyingFennec @theflyingfennec.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Finalizing the designs of the two villains that will finally surface in the next book. One of them is considerably easier for me than the other!

Harmonizer book 3: Stampede is almost done! Cover is locked in, editing is in the very last stretch, and I have the entirety of next week off! Time to lock this in and start work on book 4, Mire of Madness!

Growing older apparently means having an entire arm suddenly become borderline unusable without any reason or explanation??? And yes, I'm having a wonderful week, thanks for asking! /s

These last two weeks have been crazy between trying to get my next book cover done, starting up a potential video game project, usual book work, and the weird explosion we're having on Twitch and Youtube. Trying to keep up with all of this has been a whirlwind.

I always tell myself I can do just one more thing... Vent comic featuring Feera from #HarmonizerTOG ! And yes, those are all supposed to be alchemy bottles. ( #art #comic #Digitalart #FantasyBookSky )

Comic featuring an alchemist named Feera. In the first panel, she talks about how she wants to do another project. In the next panel, she has taken on yet another project. In the third, she is just starting to wonder if she's doing too many projects. In the fourth, she is completely drowned in projects! It's a vent comic.

I am sooooooooooooo close to finally having this animation completed!

Depicts a wagon traveling through a desert on a fictional world. The wagon is being pulled by a thekkar, a giant lizard.

The amount of viewership and interaction I'm getting on both Youtube and Twitch is crazy for Pokerogue. Kinda nice considering I am now extremely addicted to it and I haven't even touched the challenge runs or endless yet.

I really hope an Etsy alternative rears its head at some point. First of all, I miss shopping on etsy and finding cool art stuff. Second of all, I actually have stuff I would put on there for once.

The Lonely Fortress - Fantasy Music for your Adventures! (No AI)

TheFlyingFennec @theflyingfennec.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

It's annoying that both Etsy and Redbubble have become borderline impossible to navigate due to the flood of AI stuff. Used to use them both all the time, but now I just can't.

TheFlyingFennec @theflyingfennec.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

I believe the preorders for Lonely Fortress should be live by this evening. Also means I really need to start working seriously on the third book's cover! Damn you animated piece for taking way too long for me to make!

Did a LOT of work this weekend on new art stuff. I have my big animation piece much closer to being done. Only a little more left to animate. I've also discovered that my next big war is going to be on facial expressions. I have a REALLY hard time with eyes.

Holly shit Etsy is literally unusable now. I was looking to buy some resin prints and it's 100% Ai scams. Not a single real seller.

Not one hundred percent sure this is exactly final, but all the major cover work for The Lonely Fortress is done! Now to start planning for the cover work on book 3! All art done by me, just to be clear. #HarmonizerTOG #Fantasy #selfpublished #fantasybooksky #digitalart

Cover art for the Lonely fortress. It depicts Vianna and her friends gazing upon an old, frozen fortress nestled within the crook of a cold mountain. On the spine is the half-face of Garondar, the book's primary target Guardian. On the back cover is the blurb of what the book is about, which is as follows! After finishing her quest to the north, Vianna was content to enjoy the hard-won life she had dreamt of having, but her world comes crashing down once again when Estria's cure fails and Aiya shows symptoms of the Violet Death. Furious over Estria's seeming betrayal, Vianna, Feera, and Garrin return to the Tower of the Gods to confront her, but there they learn the truth of the insidious infliction. Their planet is dying, and the only way to save it, and all those affected by the Violet Death, is to reach the core and trigger a manual purge. With their new quest set before them, the trio plots a course into Tan'tria's frozen north to find the Lonely Fortress and fell its Guardian, Garondar, but these aren't the mountains they once knew. In order to survive the frozen north, Vianna and her friends will have to learn to fight as one, or risk succumbing to the shadow of steel!

In some ways this weekend was productive. In others I was too freakin sick to be as productive as I wanted to be. Got pretty much everything on my list done except for breaking into GoDot. It was a casualty of... whatever the hell is afflicting me.
