If the 'Hidden Liver Reset' protocol feels hard to sustain with the same precision every day, the MiVS Protocol is the lifestyle-change focused plant-based products system that I use myself daily to help support liver and metabolic health regardless of what the scale says.

Left unaddressed, this pattern can progress quietly for years precisely because it doesn't match what people expect fatty liver or metabolic risk to look like...in themselves or in how others see them.

The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
That's why someone can look "thin" and still be carrying meaningful visceral fat around the liver and other organs...sometimes called the thin-outside-fat-inside pattern. A normal BMI measures overall size, not where fat is actually stored.

...including insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, and risk of disease progression...even without carrying extra weight on the scale (Younes & Bugianesi, NASH in lean individuals, published in Seminars in Liver Disease, 2019).

The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
Here's what's actually happening: normal body weight doesn't rule out excess fat around your organs. Research on this "lean NAFLD/NASH" pattern describes how normal-weight individuals can still develop fatty liver disease with real metabolic consequences...

Told you have fatty liver, but your BMI looks completely normal? That's not a mislabel...it's a real, documented pattern.

If your parents have diabetes, this research hits even closer to home. Your genetics load the gun, but your lifestyle pulls the trigger.
100
The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
This study proves diabetes doesn't appear overnight. It builds silently for years. The question is whether you'll catch it early enough to reverse course.
100
The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
The good news? Insulin sensitivity and glucose effectiveness can be improved through lifestyle changes. Exercise, sleep, stress management, and nutrition all play a role. You have the power to shift these markers before disease takes hold.
100
The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
Here's what this means for you: your body might be struggling to process sugar right now, even if your blood work looks "normal." The standard tests your doctor runs aren't designed to catch these early defects.
100
The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
• ZERO people with both markers above average got the disease • Standard fasting glucose tests missed these warning signs completely • Obesity made things worse, but even lean people with poor markers were at high risk
100
The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
Key findings: • People who developed diabetes had lower insulin sensitivity AND lower glucose effectiveness years before diagnosis • 76% of those with both markers below average developed type 2 diabetes

The shocking part? Scientists could predict who would get sick more than a decade in advance.
100
The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 2h
A 25-year Harvard study just exposed a terrifying truth. Researchers followed 155 people whose parents both had type 2 diabetes. All had normal blood sugar at the start. But over the next two decades, 25 of them developed diabetes anyway.

Bottom line: Weights do not just build muscle. They rebuild your mind. Fastest bad day cure that exists. If you know, you know.

You walk in defeated. You walk out different. Not because problems disappeared...but because YOU changed. That's the real transformation.

But here's what nobody tells you... The weight doesn't just change your mood. It changes your identity. Every rep is proof that you're stronger than your excuses.

When you lift heavy, your brain floods with endorphins and dopamine. Instant chemistry shift. Bad mood? Gone in 20 minutes. This isn't woo woo... it's neuroscience. Applied.

The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 3h
The truth? Heavy iron is the fastest mood reset that exists. Not "therapy". Not "meditation". Not "a walk". Weights. Here's why science backs me up...

How many more years are you going to let pass before you stop waiting for permission to become who you are capable of being?

You need to start, stay, and stop negotiating with your own potential. The power is in your hands, but only if you close your fist around it and do the work.

This man is not special. He is simply consistent. He refused to believe the narrative that aging means declining, that 60 means fragile, that movement is optional.

It cares about stimulus. You either use it or you lose it, and the loss accelerates with every year you wait.

The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 3h
Here is what I observe amongst those I care for: the people who say it is too late are the same ones who said they would start next year a decade ago. The body does not care about your excuses.
100
The Fittest Doc @thefittestdoc.bsky.social · 3h
Yet the overwhelming majority of people in this age demographic will watch this and still find an excuse. "Too late to start." "Bad knees." "No time."

Resistance training is the closest thing we have to a fountain of youth, and the data backs it up: muscle mass preservation, bone density retention, metabolic resilience, hormonal optimization.

Consistency is not the secret to looking younger than your actual age. It is the secret to proving that age is a lie we have been told to accept.

Left unaddressed, focusing only on the symptom and skipping the underlying vascular picture means missing a window where simple, root-cause changes can matter most.

That's why this deserves more than a quiet prescription refill. It's not about masculinity, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's a legitimate vascular and metabolic signal worth bringing into the conversation with your doctor, alongside standard labs.

The blood vessels involved in erectile function are small, so changes there...often linked to insulin resistance and vascular health...can appear before they're detectable anywhere else in the body.
