Wrapped filming with Mr. Todd Stashwick, Matthew Lillard and Jenny who is our "artist" fan. We shot with Caroline our "collector" as well but I still need to review the footage to see if we have enough.

What I've been up to since my last post....Shot my interview with 1 of our documentary "fans" Jenny Johnson. Flew to Nova Scotia for it which was so fun. Then last night I filmed my convention talent manager interview with Sean Clark who was delightful.

I present to you "Just People" documentary! Illustration done by Oscar Stashwick. The theme was 70's era comedy poster with a cartoon-y spin. We couldn't used licensed cosplays, so it's cool to see his renditions of various cosplay.

Is it really a nerd convention without the King of the Nerds, Captain Shaw/Deacon/ Dale, Todd Stashwick? Appreciate this dude so much

John Rhys-Davies makes every single person he meets feel special. It's his superpower.

I had the pleasure of playing D&D with Todd Stashwick last night. We explored, fought monsters and suffered a lot of psychic damage 😂

Catching up on my Bluesky. It was great seeing the @beadleandgrimms.com gang at FPWKK! I'm also happy I made some new friends 🥹🥲

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 01/04/2026

WonderCon was a blast. 🎥 Ran into some TTRPG friends, shot some panels for Todd Stashwick and his friends. Currently reading their ProgCore book which is in the "almost" final copy stage before they ship these out in May.

Saturday we had our interview with Dee Wallace 🩷 Sunday I had a coffee meetup with a woman who runs a bunch of conventions. She was super cool. Thank you to Matthew Lillard for setting us up 😂

@crashyourplane.bsky.social Wanted to share this of your buddy Matthew Lillard who for some crazy reason said yes to being in my film. I had to slate him accordingly as "Beadle the Great and Powerful"

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 02/02/2026

I love how David Dastmalchian crashed my doc shoot while I was filming b-roll with one of our "Fans".

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 13/01/2026

I am honored and thrilled to have the lovable Matthew Lillard on board to help us tell this story for @justpeopledoc 🤗

000

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 12/01/2026

Yesterday was a blast. It was fun listening to Todd's stories and a lot of them I had never heard before which was surprising considering I watched/listened to a lot of his past interviews in preparation for this so that I could try and come up with different questions to ask. Amazing experience 🥲

000

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 11/01/2026

Filming Dee Wallace for my documentary but prior to that I got sidetracked and wanted to go hang out with Al from "Home Improvement" 😂 Richard Karn was super nice.

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 30/12/2025

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social Scored this at the Orange Circle. The collection is coming along. Grand Illusion & Crystal Ball were my favorite, so I'm happy I found them.

Please welcome Dee Wallace to "Just People" documentary 🥰 I feel so honored to have her on board. She's a beautiful person inside and out and quite the talent on-screen. I'm looking forward to sitting down and talking with her.

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social I had plans this week to start going back to the gym after work. I've gained so much weight in like the last 2 yrs. 😢 😂 Excited to try this app out.

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social My mom is a Styx fan. She stopped singing when I pulled the camera out 😂

It's a rewarding feeling when you put in all of this hard work in preproduction and then production goes so smoothly. Someone said to me "You did that." 🥹 💁🏻‍♀️ Yeah I guess I did. Team effort though because everybody showed up #1 and #2 they were all on time.

000

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 24/11/2025

🎬 We are shooting with the Canon C500 and the Blackmagic 6K pocket cam.

000

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 24/11/2025

Successful first day working with the crew. Some of them I'd worked with before and some I had not, so I'm happy everything went smoothly. And they want to come back which is always good to hear as a Director 😂

000

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 07/11/2025

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social I just realized my 1st ever D&D character was a Druid named Lenora. Sort of close to "Eleanora". I still haven't gotten to play her because I always end up being rogues, sorcerers, paladins or Druids whose personas don't fit Lenora's. 1 day I will play her. She's my OG

010

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 01/11/2025

I haven't been posting on here as much as I should, but I am happy to announce we have our first Talent interviewee for my documentary "Just People". Please welcome the lovely and talented Todd Stashwick! Also, seeing a Marvel show under this credit is wild. 😂

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social I'm happy I got to finally meet Luke and tell him all about my 1st Gary Con experience. 🥹

@crashyourplane.bsky.social I know my strengths and drawing for Beadle & Grimms is not 1 of them 😂 Bless Chris Daily for trying to teach me how to draw a lion at Mystic Con. I rolled up a Tabaxi Wizard and I made him an office worker with magical pens. Chris then did his own version.

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 19/10/2025

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social Hey, would I be able to use this clip and incorporate it in some way into my Kickstarter video at the end of my trailer? It would be used only for Kickstarter not in the doc itself. I don't want to lead people on since I don't have Talent cast for this yet.

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social I didn't see any cafe kitties while in England but I saw so many dogs. I pet my first international doggy. 😂 Also, the fact you were over there for 6 months and went back and fourth and so did your family, that's a lot. I was only gone 10 days and I'm exhausted. Haha

Old church either near or in Cotswold. There's so many towns within the Cotswolds

I've been in England the last 10 days and it feels like I've been gone a month. We saw so many towns I've lost count of them. This was a compilation of photos from London on day 1 and 2

000

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 02/10/2025

This photo doesn't do this Raven justice. It was the size of a medium sized dog.

000

Lindsey @thefilmgirlproject.com · 02/10/2025

@realtoddstashwick.bsky.social I don't know if you were able to go here while you were in London, but I picked this up. I'd been looking everywhere online for it.
