🔌Chii recently had the Gender Experience Of A Lifetime (...already was trans so that's saying something) listening to Hello Earth - Kate Bush and started going by Laika (along with still going by Chii), felt like we had to do an additional NPC for Chasmhome's pride art due to that #pridemonth

a mechanix - a robotic feline companion with a large fin on its neck and shoulders, along with its ears, to catch solar energy - is sitting upright, looking a bit sheepish but still happy with herself. she has a greyish-green pelt, with a green cape marking and green fins, with copper spines holding up the fins and copper bracers around her limbs. she has myriad black wires for a tail, with the same black insulating material over her front paws. she is wearing large round green glasses with a little magnetic chip in her ears to hold them up.

she has a copper collar on that is holding up what appears to be a tiny model of sputnik 2, though she is shyly holding a paw up over part of the satellite. all of the circuitboard patterns and tech on her body are glowing in trans flag colors, and she is sitting on a small moon that is painted in trans flag colors.

she has recently started going by the name Laika.

this is on mags' toyhouse profile but i think that's the only place i've posted it publicly, but i might be wrong. otherwise i've only shown it to friends when relevant. fuck. i don't know. feels important by now.

the physical mags is depicted as the mags from the past. ei has their hair clipped short roughly and is covered in neon pink blood, primarily from an extreme nosebleed spraying down eir front. the blood is collecting in the sink. ei is exhausted and staring in eir reflection with frustration.

the mags in the mirror is the real, current mags. ei has longer hair and top surgery scars. their eyes are sympathetic. ei is not bleeding, ei has no blood on them today.

art from october 2024. mags' ref had not been updated to include top surgery scars or optional hair extensions yet (scars used in mags art at the time, but this was the first image with longer hair)

a pale fae creature with an abnormally long, stretched out torso and neck and long, unjointed arms sits crosslegged with a blanket over its legs. it has many things covering its face including a muzzle with a mute symbol on the front, a surgical mask, and a replica of the saw reverse bear trap. despite this, other than glowing red eyes, the changeling's face is blank. they are bound by shackles that are bruising and abrading the changeling's arms. the changeling is covered in someone else's blood, the splatter going up the front of its torso, a handprint smearing down its chest, and small smears on its knuckles, as if a massive beatdown happened. the changeling is looking down at the viewer with head tipped up, judgingly.

two rixixi, dragon-cat hybrids. they are both extremely colorful, the one in front almost every color in the rainbow and the one in back more beachy tones of orange and blue. the one in front is slim, kneeling down with a lit molotov, the flames in the color of the pan flag. they have multiple pride flags tattooed on their arm including progress pride, trans, bi, genderqueer, and genderfluid. they are wearing a shirt that says YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME and under it, an oversized shirt that they have pulled up as a mask, with an X painted over the mouth. they look pissed. the one in the back is fat and strong, with braces on the arms and barely visible braces on the legs that are covered up by the rixixi in the front. they have crutches on the ground in front of them to be picked up soon. they are wearing a torn leather jacket. this rixixi is roaring like a big cat and tearing up a nazi flag that is on fire, the fire also in the colors of the pan flag. this rixixi looks pissed and determined.
