When the fanfic is really good and it’s ending/epilogue sets up a sequel only for you to check the author’s profile and see that they haven’t finished/started the sequel and they’ve been MIA for years with no reason why: (I always hope they are ok and move on, it’s not that big a deal but still 😔)
