🏳️‍🌈 For #PrideMonth, I’m celebrating the legacy of queer genius Cole Porter with his 1930 classic “Love for Sale.” Porter’s music reminds us that daring artistry and queer visibility have long been intertwined. #QueerJazz #LoveForSale #JazzPiano #ColePorter #EricScottReed #OutLate #YamahaPiano

🏳️‍🌈 For #PrideMonth, I recorded Billy Strayhorn’s “U.M.M.G. (Upper Manhattan Medical Group),” written in 1955. Strayhorn was a queer Black genius who spoke boldly—through beauty. #QueerJazz #UMMG #BillyStrayhorn #PrideMusic #JazzHistory #Pride2025 #LGBTQJazz #YamahaPiano #OutLate

Here is an insturmental solo piano snippet of a song I wrote called “The Thorn”. Rapper Kendrick Lamar sampled it for his iconic work “Rigamortis” on his album “Section.80”. #KendrickLamar #TheyNotLikeUs #GNX #Rigamortis #Rigormortis #Section.80 #Section80 #TheThorn
