I'm just a straight white dude, but if what I believe in makes me "woke" then I'm woke 😤 The chuds can go get fucked (preferably by no one but themselves)! I prefer friends from all walks of life that don't give a shit about anyone's background, sexual preference, whatever. ALL are welcome here 🫂💚

Anytime I see someone who uses "wOkE" to bash literally anything with gay people, people of color, or women in it, they're automatically trash in my eyes. I'm a straight cis male but most of my friends in real life are LGBTQ+ lol. Y'all are just really likeable and often kindred spirits.

Idk how but this song played randomly on its own on our Google Home earlier. I know it, because my Grandpa was the bass player for The Aliis, but I didn't know it was on YouTube😭 It's a beautiful song and Danny Couch's voice is great. I met him once 🙂 Miss you Grandpa ❤️ youtu.be/FNicn4mwXK4?...

I love hanging outside on my deck at night in October. Listening for spooky sounds and stargazing in beautiful cool temps. I have a video from last night on my Instagram that's pretty neat but I'm too bashful to post it here lol

I know we're just over 2 months away but I'm already thinking about and am super excited for The Game Awards I feel like there's gonna be something big from Star Wars again..... And if it's gonna be anything, Jedi 3 or KOTOR remake are just about due. 🤞

Finished #TheRingsofPower S2 on this day in 2024, and I saw a quote from it that I needed to be reminded of "It is not strength that overcomes darkness, but light. Armies may rise, hearts may fail, yet still, light endures and is mightier than strength. For in its presence, all darkness must flee"

I don't know how to say how I feel about the #Lanterns finale without indicating things that are spoilers, so I'll come back to my thoughts about it later.

Lanterns finale tonight. SO many questions to answer. Hope it sticks the landing.

Just ordered Resident Evil: Requiem! I know I'm months late but I like to play RE during the month of October. It'll be the first game I've bought on disc for my Xbox Series X 🙂 #GamingSky

it’s october, which means its EXTRA important to keep our black kitties safe this spooky season. 👻🐈‍⬛ black cats are some of the funniest, sweetest, and talkative kitties out there. stop the stigma surrounding them. they’re angels, and that’s IT. 👏🏻

I'm not surprised Tom Cruise's "Digger" is getting roasted. The movie never looked good to me, and personally he's very challenging to like no matter who he plays. I have spoken.

Nearly 30 hours into #TheWitcher3Remastered and while I have a better grasp of the combat, I'm getting my ass kicked more often than usual, and it has yet to feel truly satisfying. Gonna totally continue playing tho The open-world is extremely fun to explore and I love everything in it.

Kind of a damned if they do damned if they don't situation honestly. We'll see how both Rockstar and The Game Awards handle it.

I understand the caution around this potential series, but I'm not counting it out yet cause the team doing it has a solid track record so far. Wait and see kind of thing for sure. I can honestly see it being very interesting, but who knows! deadline.com/2026/09/spid...

I'm on a big haunted house kick lately. The Darkness in St. Louis, Missouri is probably the second best Halloween attraction in America next to Netherworld. This video is a full walkthrough with just the animatronics and ohmyGAWD 😱 Mindblowing work put into it. So immersive! youtu.be/KckKbVuY0rw?...

I don't consider this a negative on the game's part, but even on performance mode The Witcher 3 Remastered is having some laggy/glitchy issues on my base PS5. Doesn't run as smooth as I'd like, although so far it's not ruining the experience at all. Just an annoyance.

Early thoughts on #TheWitcher3Remastered My first attempt at a full playthrough of this game Positives: INCREDIBLE fantasy world EPIC visuals Minor negative nitpick: Compared to games I'm used to playing, combat still seems dated. It doesn't feel like I'm hitting anything, even though I am lol

My comment on the old, overused, exhausting, and extremely frustrating "not all men" argument that gets brought up every time men do horrible things...

I looked up which Halloween attraction has the most animatronics in America and found NETHERWORLD near Atlanta - basically the Walt Disney World of Halloween! 400+ animatronics, HUGE insane scenes, tons of actors and INCREDIBLE detail/variety. The DCU once again did something to stir my heart last night, and I thought it was beautifully done. Basically, it was a scenario where you have died and an earlier version of yourself has a conversation with the person who you ended up falling in love with before your death. It kinda broke me tbh.

I want to watch the new Lanterns episode right now but my Denver Broncos are on. They're completely sucking ass but it's too early in the game to be a done deal It's gonna be rough. I often wish I could just ignore the game entirely but I have yet to succeed at in 22 years of watching the NFL

Hm. I think I could've gone without going to see Avengers: Endgame Encore. The credits scenes didn't do a lot for me and didn't feel like all that essential viewing before Doomsday. Damn. Still hyped of course, but I'm disappointed.

Look I know the rumors about a Christopher Nolan directed Darth Vader movie are flat out lies/fake AF, but if somehow that was ever a reality, I uh...wouldn't be opposed He's a big Star Wars fan...I can only imagine how epic that might end up being. Disney would never give him creative freedom tho

I got my Nikon Z6 out last night and had a blast taking photos of our Halloween decorations. They came out really good, especially because of the full moon in the background. Will probably wait to post until October 1st, but I can't wait cause I'm very happy with the results 🎃 #SpookySeason

AustinH. @thedweebylifeofa.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Yeah, shit gets really weird with jackasses who do that. It's not harmful to have an interest in Star Wars, the MCU, or another popular franchise...so please for the love of bajeebus go pick something else to be insufferable over and let people just enjoy what they love.

170

AustinH. @thedweebylifeofa.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Honestly people using the words "canceled" is kind of annoying for this, cause it definitely feels like the story is gonna wrap up in season 3. It isn't really a bad thing.

AustinH. @thedweebylifeofa.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Seeing Avengers: End Game Encore on Saturday evening. The Dr. Doom credits scenes sound extremely interesting, and are the only reason I'm going. My hype for Doomsday is astronomical. Just finished rewatching Infinity War. Man...Thanos is such a ridiculously well-done villain. I hope Doom tops him
