Might have to do a "team cleanup" soon. I need people who actively want to cover things, write and help me with local haunts

Coming down from the high of this weekend and starting back at work on Thursday has me feeling a lot of different things. Need to figure out where my head is at

Finished editing a con recap and started another edit for Midsummer scream and I think I found my motivation mojo. Hope it stays that way

Nightmare on Krys Street🎃 @thedreamwarrior.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Got motivated and edited con photos from this past weekend, started writing the recap post, culled video footage and got a few articles started. FEELING GOOD

Being accepted for Media at the biggest horror convention in the world will never not shock me! I worked hard to get here @localhaunts.bsky.social

Do I feel shitty that Horror Nights refuses to send me their press releases? Yeah, obviously. Have I tried multiple times over the last 6 years? Yeah, obviously. Will I give up? No because I'm stubborn lmao

Officially moved into our new place and it's been STRESSFUL unpacking everything but we here!

I'm so motivated to edit photo and video but I have to finish packing to move and it's killing me 😭

000

Nightmare on Krys Street🎃 @thedreamwarrior.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

Spent all weekend with friends and had a BLAST! Still feel like shit because I wasn't invited to two different parties for people I thought I was friends with. Big bummer :(

000

Nightmare on Krys Street🎃 @thedreamwarrior.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

Enjoying Monsterpalooza as a guest has been AMAZING! The feeling of enjoying a con for fun and not feeling like I *have* to make content is so exciting

Man, today has been SHIT. To be honest this year has been ridiculously tough and I'm getting tired

000

Grateful doesn't even begin to scratch the surface when it comes to all the opportunities I've been getting for my team @localhaunts.bsky.social

I might have lost all my footage from Fan Fest night 1... I was so excited and felt good about what I captured. Now I feel defeated

Our team is growing! We've added folks from Texas, New York, Tennessee, Alabama, New Jersey, Arizona and there's still more applications to go through 🥲

Finding focus to edit photos or work in general is ROUGH

A bunch of friends and creators were invited to an early screening last night and I always feel like shit when I don´t get invited. Makes me feel like I´m not doing enough with Local Haunts. It´s a vicious cycle of not wanting to be an influencer to wanting to be an influencer to feel like I matter

Been toying with the idea of streaming games I play but I know it's not that easy and a lot of work goes into it. Maybe once I actually build my PC (soon!!!!!) I can look into it more

000

Nightmare on Krys Street🎃 @thedreamwarrior.bsky.social · 04/01/2026

Goals for 2026: • Read at least 5 books • Journal any games and movies I play/watch • Take as many photos as possible • Make a dent in my editing back log

Nightmare on Krys Street🎃 @thedreamwarrior.bsky.social · 18/12/2025

Taking photos is sick! Sharing them with friends and family is cool! Finding the motivation to actually share them online is the worst god damn thing in the world

Finally got myself a desk so I can be productive! (Play video games while lightroom is open with photos from last year to edit)

All my friends are posting their HHN recaps and I'm sad I have no photos included because I didn't edit any in time 😭

Working on organizing my haunt photos! My biggest gripe every year is I never take enough or I could've done better but I improved a lot from last year :)

The urge to shoot live shows (concerts) again is becoming VERY strong. Do I dare dabble again 👀

Maybe one day I'll get invited to cover the bigger haunts, but until now I have to be grateful for the opportunities I've been given

000

Nightmare on Krys Street🎃 @thedreamwarrior.bsky.social · 18/08/2025

Midsummer Scream opened my eyes and made me realize I'm not an influencer. I can't make a recap same day. I can't pump out 10 videos and make them all interesting. I can't do what influencers do and THAT'S OKIE! I know my strengths and should be proud of what I produce. I'M PROUD OF MYSELF
