I like to hunt for slightly different coloured pixels in games that are decades old. I'll share it every now and then, too.

PHASE 3 for Heracross is over after just 930 headbutts, my 8th shiny in a row under odds! It's not my target, but this one is so cool! I'm just happy it's not another yellow bird. #ShinyPokemon #Hunting #Pokemon

Decided to join in with the Egg Month shenanigans, so I have spent some time this month setting up an Energy Ball Vulpix hunt. Farmed 125 eggs yesterday. Egg number 124! 🥚✨ #Pokemon #Vulpix #Eggmonth #Hunting #Shiny

PHASE 1 for 85% encounter rate Hoothoot is the 15% Ratatta. Weirdly very happy with this one as a friend has this obsession with the name Devin Hester, so meet Hester, my second shiny Rat! ✨ #ShinyPokemon #Ratatta #Pokemon

Wow! Yesterday I caught my target Totodile after 3350 resets! What a lovely hunt! 🤩 Today, while EV training it, I discovered it has Pokerus! Unsure what that means for the EV training, but fantastic for the future! ✨ #Pokemon #Totodile #Pokerus #ShinyHunt

When you spend so long talking about shiny hunting, your friends start making horrible things..

First shiny of the year and it's the target! 🎉 I was going for Magnemite or Magneton, and after 7367 encounters, I finally got an under odds shiny in one phase! 🤩 #ShinyPokemon #Magnemite #Magneton #Pokemon

First shiny hunt of the year, Magnemite or Magneton! Any bets on how far over odds this one goes? 🤔 #ShinyHunt #Pokemon #Magnemite #Magneton #fullodds

I suppose now I've found the Venonat, 4 months, 3 PHASES and 72483 encounters later, I might actually create a Shiny Bingo for next year! #Pokemon #ShinyHunting #Venonat

Am I shiny hunting wrong? Do shinies not exist in Gen 3 anymore? Someone send me some luck, please. I've run out of my own. 😭🙏 Venonat hunt progress: PHASE 1-8096 failed Pidgey. PHASE 2-26418 Pidgey reclaim. PHASE 3-26190 and counting. #Pokemon #ShinyHunting #Gen3 #Venonat #Pidgey #Luck #RNG

I'm taking a break from Gen 3, which has been brutal recently! Cyndaquil was my first random shiny on HeartGold and was the reason I hunt now, so let's see if I can obtain the other two and end my full odds drought!

20 days later... Shall I do it? Shall I actually post something about my shinies?

I started my account on that other platform by creating a story of my Gen 4 shiny hunts, so I figured I'd start this one with my Gen 3 ones.. Eventually.
