the way they are the same person and completely opposite at the same time is very interesting to me

![a redraw of the "why dis [ninja emoji] look so mad [crying emoji]" meme with engineer Mark and the Captain from In space with Markipkier.
Mark is the mad guy, looking menacingly at the camera. All of his expression except for the eyes in hidden in darkness. He is holding the air tank from the iswm part 2 ending in his hands.
The captain is slightly taller than Mark, but their body language is tense and leaning away from him. They're clothed similarly to Mark, with only difference being that instead of overalls they're wearing a bluish gray short jacket with rolled up sleeves. Their eyes are concealed in shadow from their captain's hat, with only the right one visible, but it's obvious they're glancing at Mark out of the corner of it with a concerned expression. They hold their crystal-bearing hand with the other one, trying to keep it away.
The ninja emoji in the original meme text is replaced by a spanner emoji.
Right next to it is the credit to the original meme poster, lilsleepyjp.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:q2lez7f6dovf3xnmafvfqoyz/bafkreia2fox4eiju6s6lvgbv5z3tedi25vqoutvsvgubtczukjuhkgaq5e)
