Been working on fixing the player movements, made them be able to run and jump, double jump into a glide. Now I'm trying to get the bare bones of the enemy chase and defeated mechanics.

I saw someone say they use Pixelorama.. I just downloaded it and... I love it! The UI with all the tools shown and settings per tool, is amazing. Aesprite is super overwhelming to me. Piskel doesn't have in depth features. Pixelorama seems like it's going to be the perfect blend for me.

I am very thankful for YouTube tutorials, because I've been struggling so much trying to get my Options menu to be a pop-up so I can recall it while the player is gaming.

All the AI slop and everything is really discouraging me. Human art is 100% better than anything AI could ever do. It's hard to keep up in a fast moving online world, it's heartbreaking to try so hard and feel like you get nothing in return. But that is no reason to use AI

The reason my comms are cheap and affordable is because I am still learning and not fully comfortable to make people pay a full price. Portraits take me about an hour at minimum to do, so them being $18 makes sense to me. They're on my ko-fi if anyone wants a simple pixel art avatar!
