I don't post too often and have been very busy with fulltime work (retail is exhausting and I'm often too worn out to do much) but wanted to show what I've been slowly poking at when I have a little bit of energy. I've redesigned my bread dogs to be more chibi and plan to make a desktop pet of 'em

I have spent the last month working on this illustration. I am very proud of myself for, instead of rushing through it, taking my time and paying attention to the details. I am exhausted, this was a lot of work, but I'm very happy with it.

A peaceful illustration of a young witch (Samar from the game Spirit Swap: Lofi beats to match-3 to) with pink horns and over the ear headphones, sitting on their bed in front of a big window. The window is surrounded by pothos vines and witchy knickknacks, and her Familiar, a pink round Frog with a unicorn horn, sleeps happily loafing next to her.

If you're interested in doing this as well you'll want to go to where your game is installed and go E:\Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\res. In there is a file named Camera.ini. You will want to find the line that says OrthographicFOV and change the 0 to 45 and save. Editing works while running.

My talk on fandom & game dev marketing is now available! I would love if you'd watch it and give me feedback! 💖 Key takeaways: ⭐ Build feedback loops early 🌱Cultivate a community space! 🤝🏾Incorporate feedback early where you can 🙌🏾Make your audience feel seen & heard youtu.be/tQW7puDlFgY

build feedback loops early
Cultivate a community space with a Discord server!
Respond to fan content when you can
Incorporate feedback early where you can
Make your audience feel seen & heard
Example:
Someone draws art of your game’s protagonist. Instead of just a “like” leave a reply about why you like it, or a detail you appreciate! A creator “noticing” a fan is one of the highest compliments between fan and creator, but use this sparingly.
