Every single moment with her feels like a lifetime full of adventure. He wouldn't trade it for anything.

Wukong set off to go find the elder, using the cloud to traverse faster. Some time had passed, but Wukong would return with the old monkey following behind him. "Hope we didn't keep you waiting too long."

"I am sure once we say we want to invite him for tea he will show. It's unlikely he would disappear entirely." At least he hopes not. It wouldn't make sense for him to leave without saying a word, but maybe within the stone is where he might be.

"He is doing well in his old age. While he has gotten a bit slower he still has the energy to go about daily life." Perhaps they could set up a time for tea before her hibernation. They should still have the ingredients for such. "Tea would be a great idea."

Sharing an embrace with her until it was eventually time to head back down the mountain. Their time was growing shorter by the minute, but every moment was cherished. "Anything for you."

"This is my first attempt at making something like this for another. I am glad you like it, I might have to make one for myself to match one day." Seeing how happy this made her was reward enough for him. There was plenty of leftover material to make other things.

While he had no tools that could measure her ring size in a proper way he would instead have his weapon shrink down until it was about the size of her fingers. From there he would get an estimate for her ring size. After that he would take the Jade he found and proceed to break a piece off.

A few laughs escaped him as they continued their descent. Deciding to play along he would also yell something to echo through the new tunnel. "Come out wherever you are, you can't hide forever! We will find all the Jade!" Soon his eyes caught the sight of a green shine.

When it comes to finding Jade normally one would need mining equipment and to dig hundreds of meters, but Wukong had a way around the equipment. His strength and weapon could easily cause enough damage and force to make a tunnel that traveled down hundreds of meters.

Hopping up to his feet the goal was set. Find enough Jade to make a ring out of it. Now Wukong wasn't a treasure hoarder so if there is any precious material on the mountain it will be a surprise even to him. In his head he already had an idea on what to engrave on the ring.

"It is possible to bind the spell into an object. Finding a ring will take a bit of time though, I don't have any on the mountain. Any material you want it to be?" Her answer will help determine what kind of ring he gives her. She can request a ring made out of gold or silver.

Time. For the average person time reminds them of what they have to live for, what they have to lose. It is also a reminder of their own diminishing mortality. Time waits for no one and it shouldn't. What about those that are immortal? They have nothing but time. Immortality is tempting to many

"I suppose that's true, you can't just pick it up and carry it wherever you go. Perhaps I could find an outfit to help keep you warm from the cold then." Taking a seat right beside her he would think. He had a bunch of outfits he wore on his recent journey, the cloth could be put to good use.

As the two made their way through the nature of Mount Huaguo Wukong would take his staff out of his ear. For the ring of fire to be formed he uses his weapon to help trace the radius of it. The two of them eventually made it to an area where they could sit down.

For a long time no trouble has disturbed the home of the Monkey King. Issues with the Celestial Court had subsided, the hoop no longer bound him, and no one dared to pick a fight with him. At last things were peaceful for him and the wildlife that lived on his mountain. ⬇️
