That’s defo a good choice. I’ve always got their random orange things so I’ve gotta keep that trend going, but if not I’d go for that one I think.

000 0

Ah, nice! I have not, no. I’m trying to resist getting one but one of the little orange ones would be fun to use with my MacBook Neo I thought!

They’re pretty cool aren’t they? Are you getting the smaller one, or long one?

It was supposed to be a bit like the WoW quest icon but he looks a bit too shocked 😂

The slightly weird ‘we reclaimed the name Twitter because the other guy was such a moron the didn’t keep it’ service, funnily enough, lost the name again but are claiming ownership of ‘Tweet’ now. It’s actually quite a fun network regardless signup.tweet.app/r/bit

For what it’s worth I’ve tried a lot of the genre and it’s my favourite of them all. I hope they can turn it around into … whatever it becomes youtu.be/JZjyhiWO07Q?...

I do feel for Bungie and their current woes to be honest. They were told in the early Alpha for Marathon that extraction shooters just do not have the broad appeal to make it successful though.

Is the iPhone Duo simulator in Xcode 27.1 beta *super* slow for everyone or is my MacBook Neo just too underpowered for the thing?

000 0

Andy @thedent.net · 20/09/2026

I ran the app I’m building through the iPhone Duo simulator and it looks like utter garbage 😂 I thought I was getting somewhere (slowly) with it but I’m now not quite sure how to get it to look right / good on that bloody thing 🤔

Andy @thedent.net · 17/09/2026

Played a few levels of World of Warcraft: Forever. It’s pretty wonderful. I won’t waste too long on the beta, but November can’t come soon enough!

WoW Forever has no realms?! That's fantastic!

Andy @thedent.net · 13/09/2026

#Blizzcon was pretty amazing. I’m absolutely going to try and learn Heroes of the Storm, the new OW character is quite fun (I’m a sucker for Supports), Warcraft 3 expansion is just great, and I can’t wait to dig into World of Warcraft Forever. I probably won’t play any more Diablo IV though 😂

Through the power of some AI slop, I am ready for my #WorldOfWarcraftForever Forsaken Paladin!

000 0

Ok, @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com, you win. Warcraft Forever looks amazing. Very excited. Really need to find a Europe / UK based guild.

Inject Warcraft Forever into my soul.

Blizzcon is a go!

Andy @thedent.net · 09/09/2026

I’m overly excited for #blizzcon for this year! I am *definitely* going to be disappointed with whatever Classic+ is, or isn’t, but I’m still hyped.

Meh, the name ‘iPhone Fold’ is a million times better than ‘iPhone Duo’.

Finally got some additional memory for my Steam Machine so can download some *real* games. Cyberpunk 2077 looks / runs incredible !

It’s a shame that, by the sounds of it, Marathon hasn’t done / isn’t doing very well. As far as extraction shooters go it’s a really fun game. Good setting and art style, enjoyable gunplay and the inevitable deaths aren’t too punishing.

Every time I see something about Craft it’s to say it’s a 40% off for a ‘limited time’. Isn’t it best to just set this to the price because there must be someone that buys the one day the ‘limited’ sale isn’t on and they’d feel pretty bad about it. Great product regardless, of course!

000 0

Yeah I know sadly true. I suppose the only option is people on personal blogs for ‘real’ viewpoints on things.

I was actually when this popped up. I’m not now, ive not watched one of their vids for months now so no loss. There are no tech / tech adjacent stuff i watch at all any more. Id like to find some actual legit people not just trying to flog something.

Includes paid promotion? Yeah, I bet it does! 😂 Sad to see these guys fall so far.

Nothing OS on the Phone 3 has always felt pretty good, but I'm so surprised at how snappy feeling the OS 5 beta is. Really very nice.

Has anyone found a fun / infesting new app (iOS or Android) recently? It’s been a while since I’ve found a new app that’s for me really excited to use it.

I have to kill the two Havenythe bosses so will focus on that for now :)

Andy @thedent.net · 15/08/2026

Yeah, thanks for that, will defp keep going. I think once the temp account exceeds thr progress on my own account (it already is for some skills) I may lose interst. I want to unlock at least the teleport cosmetic and will go from there. I've just seen I've not unlocked the god tier yet either.

Andy @thedent.net · 14/08/2026

It really highlights just how bad the Xbox Dashboard has become when you directly compare them next to each other. Anyone want to buy an Xbox Series X?! 😂

Andy @thedent.net · 14/08/2026

I don’t think I’ve posted about it yet, but the Steam Machine is fantastic. Lovely looking little beauty and SteamOS is so clean and simple, and focused on just letting you play your games.

The new League in #RuneScape has been good fun, but I’m going to *just* about scrape to the Iron trophy and then call it quits. The grind after that (well the grind from 3,600 points that I’m at now) is starting to get far too painful for such a short temporary mode. Been fun though.

I have *so* many old ass MMOs to play, yet *still* i am hovering over the buy button for Everquest Legends, despite never even playing the original, so nostalgia can't be blamed this time.

I’ve spent 65 hours in Guild Wars pre searing so far. The grind to level 20 is sloooow, but what a lovely game.
