Happy anniversary to Starfield! Still one of my favorite games for casual exploration.

The Resident Evil movie made me very happy. It was big dumb fun the whole time. It felt like it could have easily taken place in the games too.

Booked a Resident Evil ticket for early Thursday afternoon with genuine excitement! I’m gonna get that bag too. I’m going to be a NERD.

Finally got around to finishing Super Mario RPG remake. It’s great! But wow the localization team had some fun with this one with the mind reading ability.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake looks VERY PRETTY.

Stardew Valley perfection achieved on Forest Farm: Year 2 Fall 19. Felt a bit slowed down actually. Forest Farm is not late game friendly with the big money strategies. Also, I need to regrow my grass. I think I'll decorate it a bit for Grandpa's actual visit in a season.

The full game for Feed the Scorchpot got released! I ended up buying the full game because I loved the demo so much, and I recommend checking it out if Balatro-style BIG MATH ENERGY with a Catan board sounds appealing.

I see Tim Curry as not truly dead but always with us as he escaped to the one place uncorrupted by capitalism: space. RIP Tim Curry.

Cheers from Revolution Brewing in Chicago! Enjoying this after a nice day with Chicago Horrors. Recommend checking them out for awesome events!

I went to the top of Willis Tower in Chicago! It was very okay! I had an okay time!

Start of Year 2 of Stardew Valley on the Forest Farm. I already leveled everything to 10, unlocking the Perfection Room so my first set of mystic trees are growing. Three sheds going kegging fruit from Ginger Island.

Brador’s hat in Bloodborne goes so well with the Moon Presence cutscenes

Before taking on Orphan of Kos in Bloodborne, take in the beachfront view. I’d vacation there.

Picked up Bloodborne again to decompress. Probably my favorite horror game ever made and it is also the prettiest.

I did it! I finally went to The Rainforest Cafe at the Mall of America! A very dumb childhood dream is fulfilled! And it was very okay! Cheers!

Parks and Rec haters don’t respect what it’s really about. It’s about the cones.

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

I had more fun playing “I know that reference” in Resident Evil’s trailer than any of the past movies so that’s neat

000

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Saw The Odyssey and I had no deep thoughts other than: Hell yeah.

Stardew Valley Forest Farm Year 1 Fall 17. I unlocked Ginger Island. Once you unlock the greenhouse, you can use that to grow the winter forage needed.

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

RIP Sam Neill. Loved him in a bunch of stuff, but In the Mouth of Madness is my personal pick. Just a joyfully bonkers movie if you’re into weirdo horror.

010

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

First expert run in Star Fox done. Few retries needed for the expert medals but otherwise was pretty reasonable until Venom 2. Reached a breakthrough when I decided to target Star Wolf first.

Latest book haul. Hamnet, Starship Troopers, and Neuromancer have all been on my to-do list for radically different reasons, but now are one step closer to being actually read.

Stardew Valley Forest Farm Year 1 Fall 11. This is what my farm looed like upon completion of the greenhouse, which, yes, gets completed this early. I have a shed in the corner that'll be filled with kegs soon.

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Supergirl might be the most family friendly “death to traffickers” movie ever. I liked it!

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Anyways, Starfield is still fun. This was an actual outpost request from a community member. Interpret what's going on here as you will. It's ART.

New TV goal: catch up with all of Silo Season 2 by the end of the weekend so I can follow along with Season 3. Finished Season 1 last night and really enjoyed it.

Idk what people are on about with Robert Eggers, but The Witch is one of my favorite movies of all time and he keeps delivering for the exact kind of weirdo demographic that’d go see movies like Werewulf on Christmas

Year 1, Summer 28 of my Forest Farm in Stardew Valley. Going to do a bit of a time skip on the rest of these whenever there's a big major change to keep stuff interesting. Here's end of first Summer. On track for an early Fall greenhouse completion and mid-Fall Community Center unlock.

First run of Star Fox for the Switch 2 done! Shook off the rust a bit by the end. I’m happy with the purchase despite knowing full well that I’m gonna move on soon from it.

020

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

Picked up both Star Fox and Metroid Prime 4 for the Switch 2 today! Felt right to go physical for these two games.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed was another “I’ll give this a shot as a background thing” on Apple TV that ended up stealing my attention by Episode 5 because of how shamelessly silly and bonkers it is!

Day 46 of my Stardew Valley forest farm (Y1 Summer 18). And I think I was ghosted by the person that was gonna play Stardew with me so applications are open?

110

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

A reminder that several options exist to cast your PC to your TV that cost $0 (cables extra if using Ethernet to minimize lag). That’s obviously cheaper than a $1,049 USD for a Steam Machine.

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

Day 45 of my Stardew Valley forest farm (Y1 Summer 17). By around this point, I’ve taken down 500 dust sprites. Besides the pile of coal, the Burglar Ring makes quite a few things easier in the game.

020

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Day 44 of my Stardew Valley forest farm (Y1 Summer 16). I asked a woman if she would be open to co-op farming on Stardew and she said yes. I'll do my best to be sane about it.

Day 43 of my Stardew Valley forest farm (Y1 Summer 15). Started some kegs for those hops. Already at almost farming level 10 for artisan.

I was gifted one of the Widow’s Bay PR boxes (thanks AppleTV!), but didn’t see anyone show off the RUN card game that needs to be official merch. No rules. Just three types of cards. Not yet. Run. RUN.

Keeping my specific Widows Bay thoughts spoiler free for the next few days, but this is the most fun I had with a tv show season finale in a while. We should do a hive mind rewatch soon. I enjoyed my stay.

Day 42 of my Stardew Valley forest farm (Y1 Summer 14). A good reason to rush level 6 foraging is the lightning rods. Whether you like lots of iridium sprinklers or crystalariums, you need batteries.

Streaming again with Starfield spacetime adventures. There's new content, but I'll probably spend half my time building ships and taking photos.

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Tried the Milki Delivery demo on Steam, and it's completely adorable. Probably the coziest resource management thing I tried. Even the end of day summary screen is basically you cuddling your cow.

The Data Wizard @thedatawizard.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Day 41 of my Stardew Valley forest farm (Y1 Summer 13). Sweet, sweet hops. The most profitable summer crop sans Ancient Fruit/Starfruit if you can process it all with kegs. Ended up being a nice small boon in Fall when I got around to it.
