One thing’s for certain. This world has mistakes. I’d do right to rectify them.

Certainly. It’s thanks to you I’ve began to appreciate things. Why I remembered my love for this world. I cannot say I only like you as a friend.

Huh… Now that I think of it that doesn’t sound like such a bad idea. Serena likes talking about you and I don’t mind you.

❝That doesn’t matter right now.❞ He shakes his head. ❝What matters is making sure she’s okay.❞

❝She’s down… I can handle her on myself. It’s my fault she got kidnapped in the process. I wasn’t fast enough to save her before it was said and done.❞

❝I… I don’t know. She has been stable but I can’t tell if she’s alright…❞

Seemingly impressed with her understanding of the topic. Shadow nods in response to her. ❝Right you are. You’re rather knowledgeable about this topic.❞ He says. Heading outside the entrance of the supermarket. So many useless obstacles(people)ahead… ❝Let’s go. We’re here.❞

Anywhere with spice really. I’m not particularly too picky with my food.

Hmph. The night’s young as they’d say. I suppose that’s acceptable. (Leaving through the door and soon the building altogether.)

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

❝…Close enough.❞ He’s somewhat impressed(very little) by her common sense. He’d be lying if he did think like her at one point in time however. He seems to be rather gentle with her than with others. ❝Tell me. What else do you get besides eggs?❞

Unsurprised by the result. The hedgehog shakes his head. He went to walk away— wait what is she doing. She pulled his hand with her and they both started moving. For once Shadow’s eyes were wide and unfocused. Only regaining it on the road. ❝Whoa— do you even know where you are going…Angelina?❞

❝A cake? Seems simple enough.❞ He comments. A man who was skilled with culinary arts. Yet bakery… well this shouldn’t be too bad. He’s the ultimate life form. He’s built for any situation presented. ❝Do you have the proper ingredients? Or at least know a place that does?❞

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

❝Why should—❞ Shadow would normally ignore but those goddamn eyes. So shiny and so…pathetically adorable. He grumbles. ❝Fine… name your prize.❞

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

He’s taken aback by her compliment. Closing his eyes to dismiss and maintain his composure. ❝You haven’t. What is it?❞

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

❝You proved my point.❞ He comments to himself as it flew over her. Shadow tilts his head slightly. His arms crossed. ❝I’m…not sure. These are just the colors I was created with.❞

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

❝It’s something between us… I wouldn’t worry on it.❞ Shadow folds his arms. ❝You’re…not very bright are you?❞

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Of course. Last one wasn’t so bad… just try and control yourself.

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

There’s an even longer pause than earlier. He doesn’t know whether he should cry or kill— but given her tone she seems to be… unique for lack of a better term. ❝I’m nothing of the sort. I’m my own person.❞ He gently states. Surprisingly patient with her.

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

An amused expression briefly forms on his face at her reaction. ❝Call me Shadow. That’s all you are needed to know of me.❞

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

❝. . .❞ There was a very long moment of silence. Shadow debated whether he should even humor her… but perhaps it’s understandable given his first appearance on social media. ❝That’s because I’m not. Black quills, red stripes. I’m anything but that faker.❞

000

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑰 𝑨𝑴! @thedarkhero.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

His head tilts to the side. Seeing her tired expression. ❝Never mind that. Are you alright? It looks as if you haven’t slept an inch.❞
