Also, I finished this Reinhardt + Mercy #Overwatch illustration.

I live my life by Peter Cullen's words. He's the reason why I fell in love with Transformers and why Optimus Prime is a personal hero. This one hurt a bit personally, but I am so happy I got to share credits with him twice (and even got my ass beat by him once). Roll out, Prime!

Re: "Duskfade" I've written a post about what it was like working with Weird Beluga and Fireshine Games as a story writer and narrative designer, what it meant to me and how it has been one of the highlights of my professional life. I hope you'll read! www.diegovalenzuela.net/post/duskfad...

Duskfade and the Fight Against Despair

Halfway through 2023, my pet bird Jim (full name James Laserbeak Valenzuela) unexpectedly passed while I was abroad with my fiancé for a wedding. Now, Jim got me out of one of the deepest depressions ...

I’m proud of this one! I actually made an effort with a more sophisticated background and an actual scene with characters interacting directly. I had also never drawn my boy Lizard before. I hope you like it! #spiderman #lizard #marvel #comicbookart #digitalart

THIS TOOK TOO LONG I almost abandoned it because i started hating it halfway but I, glad I didn’t. In the end I really liked the poses details and even the little storytelling with the glass and the webs. It is what it is. #Hulk #Spiderman #BrandNewDay #DigitalArt #Procreate

I think I only enjoyed B&R because it was just so goofy. Burtons kinda scared me when I was a kid. Though I remember enjoying Forever (I was a huge Jim Carrey fan). Haven’t seen any of them in ages tho

self portrait No but really, I love this Bane design. It's over complicated so I had a lot of fun adding details and giving the metal pieces texture. Same for designing the boots. #Bane #BatmanAndRobin #Fanart #DC #ComicBookArt #DigitalArt #Procreate

Arsis is the main antagonist of "Knighted", a project I've been developing with Mako Animation, which will soon see the light of day in exciting ways. He was designed by /RubenSteven4 (TW), voice by yours truly. I'm proud of it, especially the rendering.

New artwork. Did a #DTIYS for one of Sable the Sable's many characters. I wasn't super happy with the pose in the end and Sable himself helped me figure out what it was missing, but I had fun. Hope you dig!

I can't explain it but this is more or less how Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" makes me feel. Put it together pretty quickly to practice mood/lighting/effects. Hope you like it! #Hulk #Marvel #ComicArt #Procreate #DigitalArt

In expectation and excitement of #VoxMachina's return, I needed to draw my faves (Pyke is missing but couldn't find a good placement). Learned a lot from this one and had a lot of fun. Which is what matters. Hope you dig! #Grog #Kayleth #DnD #DungeonsAndDragons #DigitalArt #Procreate

Had to start this one from scratch because I just didn't like it. I feel like after some study I could do better and I sort of did. I'm happy with the overall anatomy, proportions and action. Still, far from where I wanna be but I'm enjoying the journey. #Marvel #ComicArt #DigitalArt #Procreate

Ahoy all, I'm doing some promo animations for work and was hoping to show some WIP to get some feedback. This is a first pass on polishing and I wanted to get feedback before I go too far with it. I'm still fixing things but any thoughts are appreciated.

Finally managed to finish a drawing. Based of a conversation between Venom and Hulk in Marvel Rivals, where Venom expresses interest in binding with Hulk, and I can just imagine Eddie going “well guess I’ll just f myself then”. It was a lot of fun to do and I’m reasonably happy with the result.

Art Vs. Artist 2025 (first one I've done). Up until the last two months, this was a rough year, but I'm very happy that I used that down time to really practice art, resulting in probably the greatest improvement I've had.

Diego Valenzuela @thedamnbeast.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

Every day I’m reminded why Spidey is my favorite superhero and lately I’m drawn to well drawing him more. Although I didn’t like the background I am very proud of the characters, particularly Peters hands and arm. Hope you like it. I have one more in me before the year ends. Hope you like it!

000

Diego Valenzuela @thedamnbeast.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

Though I wasn't quite as happy with this one as I am with the last one, I'm proud I'm at least trying to learn how to draw backgrounds. A shitty one is better than not trying at all, I guess. Anyway, enjoy!

New #Bane illustration. Probably my favorite I've done in a good while. I even drew a background like a big boy. Here's your reminder that Patrick Brown's Patreon is an incredible resource for artists. He's an incredible teacher and just watching his tutorials has helped me really level up.
