I believe in immigration and open borders. But ever since a certain political authoritarian started saying “borders are not real” in his rhetoric about why he feels entitled to conquer other nations on a whim for their natural resources, just because he has the power, the phrase makes me nauseated.

When I asked the question about why Huberdeau wasn’t there, my intended question was: “does this further suggest that he has a concussion” not “why isn’t the concussion guy at the arena?” Remember, we don’t actually know his diagnosis.

I get it, but sometimes simplified language is just for ease of communication and not out of ignorance. It gets exhausting having to explain my understanding of AI to people (including that there are different types of AI and that “not all AI is bad”) every time I want to make a comment about AI.

It was good to check this out a bit for the first time tonight! I was craving a bit more positivity, though, in the commentary after a win. We all know the Flames struggles, so highlighting the strengths that kept them in the game until they could get the win would’ve been refreshing!
