i work very hard on projects no one will ever see and that's okay

TheCrystalRing @thecrystalring.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

i know no one has been wondering where ive been, but its because social media makes me want to tear my eyes out. im also one bad spiral away from not posting art or fics again, which if you havent noticed hasnt been happening much anyways. idk i think i work very hard for little meaning sometimes.

The fact that it continues to get ignored in favor of tired OSR genre emulations of genres not appropriate for OSR is further evidence of transmisogyny in the TTRPG industry

Girl Frame should be getting far more flowers than it has been receiving. It is an actual innovation in the TTRPG scene that elevates roleplaying not just into something that happens around OSR gameplay but a core function of the game itself.

The illustration is framed by two golden rectangles that form an orbit around the scene. There are two spinning objects from which the spirals come forth: the first on the lower left being from the wheel of a wheelchair as Johnny Joestar has propelled himself forward. His body and arm follow through the curve as he reaches towards the second spiral on the upper right: a steel ball resting in a holster on Gyro Zeppeli's waist as he walks out of frame. The entire scene is bathed in a rainbow gradient with golden highlights.
