Love how 6 months ago I said I'd explain my characters and than dropped off the face of the earth only to return with a totally unrelated comic

A 4 panel comic in black, white, and pink
panel 1- a man (Gallow) sits at a desk drawing a picture of a wolf, a taller man with long pointed ears (Godwin) stands over him saying "is that your fursona? that's cringe"
panel 2- Gallow is alone in frame yelling "yer cringe"
panel 3- Godwin is alone in frame looking shocked and offended
panel 4- godwin is laying down holding the aforementioned drawing to his chest looking contented, around him are lots of pink hearts

giving Poppy a much-needed design update I promise I'll make a post with who all these characters are sometime this week

A woman with black hair, pale skin, and red eyes wearing a pale purple button-up shirt, red pants, and a deep purple skirt that's open at the front. She sits in front of a dark background with a sun-like pattern in red, black, and gold, behind her head similar to a halo.

My time has come I learned to draw wings forever ago and its been the best art decision I've ever made

A figure in white armor with gold accents, their face is obscured by a beaked helmet. they have a pair of white wings and a golden halo that has two rings of indecipherable text around its edges. They hold a sword with a gold hilt and pale blue blade.

A figure with an old analogue TV floating in place of their head. On the TV is a single pink eye surrounded by static. They wear a long pink hoodie with sleeves covering their hands, a white button-up shirt, and a pink skirt. All visible skin (legs and neck) is replaced with the same static at the TV. They have two pairs of black wings, one large pair on their back and a small pair on the top corners of the TV. They appear to be coming out from one of four computer windows behind them. Two of the windows have cropped images of the figure, one shows another figure who's head is replaced with a cloud and the text "Beelzebub is calling...". The last window is a TV test card with the same pink eye as is in the TV over it.

A figure with an old analogue TV floating in place of their head and a pair of black wings on their back. On the TV is a single brown eye surrounded by static. They wear a long pink hoodie with sleeves covering their hands, a white button-up shirt, and a pink skirt. All visible skin (legs and neck) is replaced with the same static at the TV. Behind them are three windows with hearts drawn over them in white with a pink border, also drawn over the top in a cutesy style is the text "Kill me <3" and "Always watching" with the same eye as the figure drawn under it. There are two blocks of text over this that read "help me" repeated many times in black, and "get out" repeated many times in red.

A white figure with a large pair of black wings, crow-like legs and feet with bandages over them, and black feathered hands raised at 90 degree angles to each other. They have short brown hair and their face is covered by a black plague-doctor mask. They are dressed a black shirt and shorts with gold accents. A golden cord descends from above them and wraps around both arms, seemingly connecting to their stomach like an umbilical cord. The cord is severed at the top from where it descends.

In regards to color and lighting, while it is very important to study from life and such, sometimes going with your gut and bullshitting the rules creates more impactful and bolder choices. And sometimes realistic lighting can be counterintuitive to a composition.

It's black History Month so I gotta rep not only myself as a Black writer, but my book, BROOMS (co-created by Teo DuVall) about six young witches fighting for better lives in 1930's Mississippi by participating in illegal broom racing. The cast is BIPOC and very queer.🧹✨

The cover of BROOMS with the cast of characters overlaid on top of a night sky. By Jasmine Walls and Teo DuVall, with colors by Bex Glendining, and lettering by Ariana Maher

3 panels. Bruno with a piece of paper and a pencil. He says “I made a draw for you”. Second panel: “it’s a portrait of you. Hope you like”. Third and final panel: “we see the drawing better now, it’s a silly pink smiley face and the drawing reads “I ❤️ this person” and an arrow to it labels it as “you”.

A graphic with the title “Fundraiser for Palestine” and the subtitle “100% of Proceeds Donated to Care For Gaza.” It shows a render of a holographic vinyl sticker, of a long black cat wrapped around a watermelon slice. There’s a heart by its head with the Palestine flag in it. There is a white burst shape behind them. Under the image it says “Vinyl Sticker Pre-Order.”

As promised, time for an #ARTSHARE ! ・┆✦ʚ♡ɞ✦ ┆・ 💾 Post your art in the replies ! ♥ (sfw) 🎧 Tag a friend (if you'd like) 💿 Show some love to other people's work 🪽 Repost this or I'll steal something from your house 🫶 🌈Bonus question: what are your favorite themes / aesthetics for art / ocs?

two chibi ocs. Both are stretching their arms towards eachother. The one on the right wears a blue shirt and black adidas shorts as well as two wrist warmers. Their hair is black and white. Their right eye is black, their left eye white. the other character is a robot with pink fluffy hair, pink eyes and sakura petal-shaped eyebrows. He wears a brown-ish grey-ish tshirt and dark grey shorts that are usually black but because of the palette look dark grey here. He has multi colored wings on his back. there is a little winged heart between their arms and the hashtag "ART SHARE" hovers above them in white and pink lettering.
