What happens when the states who have made themselves totally red and are then overwhelmed by a blue wave that claims districts anyway? Will they simply toss blue votes in the dark of the night?

In honor of attaining 505 followers, I'm changing my profile photo to show what I actually look like. Not entirely, of course. I'm wearing cosmetics, which partially disguise how utterly old I am. Next month, I'll be 78...if I last that long.

There's a Washington Post story headlined "Why You May Not Want Lower Prices as Much as You Think You Do". Naturally, this intriguing idea is behind a paywall but I can guess it's about the perils of rampant inflation. Am I wrong?

I spent much of my adult life WITHOUT INSURANCE. I survived using these magic words—SELF-PAY, which open up discounts for doctor visits, emergency rooms, and pharmacies. These discounts aren't charity; it's because of the endless clerical work needed to collect from insurance providers. 1/8

Woohoo. Got my check from Facebook for $32.65. Doesn't feel like enough for selling my data to whoever multiple times.

Could someone explain to me the justification the Repubs are using to allow them to give Billionaires MORE tax breaks? Or are they doing it without any explanation at all?

So. I've had this song in my inner ear for a couple of days. Ah, for the innocent days in the 80's. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9D9L...

It's occurred to me that fake tan man who works for Putin actually WANTS to destory our country by isolating us from our neighbor allies and punging the economy into a depression deeper than the 30's. Please gently convince me I'm wrong.

I had a panic attack last night from thinking about SUDDENLY losing my poverty-level Social Security Retirement income. I do have savings & my house is paid in full. I would have options. But how many would immediately be put out on the streets?

I am "thecrone1948" on IG & Threads. Kept the profile photo and part of the id to hopefully be recognized by people I follow elsewhere. I don't usually provide much content, sometimes comment, & prefer being a supporter of others. But I'll try to post more for those who have followed me here.
