I made that as a feel good post, but the employee had hate attached on his remarks. He's another demographic that gets bashed and apparently he hasn't gotten the memo why they come up to him, hoping for safety. I educated him at least on why they are here and why my Redneck ass defends them.

Encountered an Afghan immigrant tonight at the local grocery store. My veteran side took over. Helped her find what she needed. Employee expressed frustration and apologized but I expressed my view. "We abandoned them. I am always gonna stand by them."

I had a Trek Belleville, I mounted 2 WW2 British rucksacks on it. Made for an awesome grocery getter. I did learn that the front rack could hold a case of beer...just be mindful of big bumps. 😄 If I had a ground floor apartment or an area that has places to securely park, I'd get another./

New power steering pulley. Folks...if your vehicle is making weird noises, no matter if nothing seems wrong, check it out or have somebody else check it out. In my case it was a slight "tick tick" sound. I isolated it and realized the pulley was going. Easy fix that can save thousands.

I am a very healthy 39 year old and only recently started using my health insurance because my mom died at 46 of aggressive colon cancer that randomly appeared. She was an EMT with angel badges for bringing people back from the dead and she didn't have health insurance in 2011. Fuck you.

@mapquest.com due to my 90s Mustang having a questionable speedometer, I generally use your app for speed and not directions, thus I don't pay much attention to anything else going on. My son was riding with me and noted that the unicorn turns around when traveling. I can't unsee it. Awesome!!!!

Modern cars are too big and fast, and worst of all...they have excellent ride quality so even folks who do care, don't always recognize that they are making a potentially fatal error. This driver is what I imagine everyone to be that speeds by at triple digits in heavy cars and trucks.

My big boss is stepping down and it breaks my heart. He's a genuinely good dude and started from the bottom. My biggest fear is that the company will go outside, they haven't done it in over 40 years, but I've encountered bad things before. I just got a raise for being me.
