iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

That’ll be the one that wasn’t shown at every screening because it was exclusive to certain formats, a fact that wasn’t publicised in advance?

Yeah, I appreciate there’s extended media devoted to resolving/ addressing all of these issues but that’s kind of my point.

Just a sidebar on this, I caught The Voyage Home at the cinema recently and was surprised by how much the bridge of the Enterprise-A shown at the end *did* look like the one in The Final Frontier. Still prefer the Undiscovered Country configuration though.

It might have been an intention but it was never stated and the series later coalesced around the First Doctor being, well, the first Doctor long before Arc of Infinity. But the main glaring problem with the Timeless Child arc is the Fugitive Doctor’s TARDIS.

I’m convinced lack of media literacy is responsible for everything that’s gone wrong since the early 2000s. We literally live in the “torment nexus meme” universe.

Is it just me or is the current #Taskmaster cast just not working? Everyone’s trying hard but for some reason it just won’t gel. There are individual moments of brilliance still but they haven’t clicked in the way so many other casts have.

One of the biggest problems with prequels in general is that they end up being coping mechanisms for nerds who can’t let go of little inconsistencies or errors. Like the whole of the Timeless Child clusterfuck by Chibnall in Doctor Who was caused by a throwaway sequence in The Brain of Morbius.

Hot take: the next saga Star Wars movie shouldn’t be Episode X, it should be Episode XIII. Give us all new characters and situations and a nice long gap that fans can speculate about.

The showing of Avengers Endgame Encore I just got out of didn’t have the reputed TVA scene that many websites have mentioned. Also they’re literally just tagged on the end in graceless fashion.

I never really liked the theme to Deep Space Nine but I honestly can’t think of what kind of theme would have suited the show better. Voyager’s theme wouldn’t have. Luckily the show itself was near flawlessly awesome so it didn’t matter. Opening titles were great though.

“Olde English” isn’t a language. It’s a brand of Malt Liquor. *Old English* is an Anglo-Saxon language which predates Shakespeare by nearly 500 years.
