My chest is tight and it’s difficult to breathe. Despite my best efforts, tears are welling up in my eyes. He was forty years old. Forty. I’m 38. My 38 is undoubtedly worse off than PAC’s 40. I’m not the Man That Gravity Forgot. I promise you gravity remembers me. It remembers my knees every […] The post There Should Have Been More: PAC appeared first on Violent People.

This is the second Road Report I’ve done for VP recently. And despite nothing really standing out, it was easily the better show of the two. Entering the arena, we ended up running into Mick Foley in the hallway. He was kind enough to take a picture with us and send us on our way. TYWGIGB is a series where Sam breaks down the wrestling that was in 1984 week-by-week. Always expect match of the week but a grab bag from there. Match of the Week Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas vs. Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch (WWF 2/10/84) As a wrestling fan, my brain is truly and utterly screwed. It’s been a minute since I’ve done one of these. With the WWE Vault consistently dropping previously unavailable footage and Black Terry Jr. reviving his old YouTube channel, I figured it’d be a good idea to do a retro version of the Recommended Matches Roundup once in awhile. Think of it as a sampler to […] The post Retro Recommended Matches Roundup #2 appeared first on Violent People.

Are you short on time for watching wrestling this week? You’re in the right place. Welcome to the Recommended Matches Roundup, a regular feature at Violent People where we round up the matches you should be watching. This is a special edition of the roundup covering the G1 Climax 36 finals, All In: London festivities, and […] The post Recommended Matches Roundup #72: All In – London Week Edition appeared first on Violent People.

Kingdom Hearts is, at its core, about an unwavering optimism. That may seem a bit naive, sure, but it's a genuinely sweet story. Having said that, some of the level layouts can be a bit tedious. There...

Intro post to understand why we are doing this. Second show of a back-to-back to open 2007. Rematches galore with Spike and Abyss running it back from last night in Syracuse. 41. A five-star match, to me, is one of those things that transcends wrestling. It’s a contest so great that it stands the test of time and reaches near-perfection. I am a bit of a stingier rater…

Right off the bat, I just want to say this will be nowhere near as in-depth as Dan Rice’s excellent road reports. One, because he attends far more interesting shows (I imagine there are more promotions in his neck of the woods as well). And two, because I don’t have all that much to say […] The post Violent People Road Report: Monday Night RAW (8/10/2026) appeared first on Violent People.
