I wish folks who work at home could volunteer to be a bike bus co-rider. I ride trails/paths every morning anyhow. But I wouldn’t feel right as a no-child adult volunteering without VERY good protections for kids, but i would love to help it grow… Maybe one day—maybe other ways, as well. 💙

It’s really funny how bozos say that about snow too—as if fat bikes and studded tires don’t exist. WINTER MAKES BIKING EVEN MORE FUN. The same trails I ride in summer are completely changed with 6-8 inches of hard pack. What’s old and familiar becomes new. ❄️ 💙 🚲

Shocking but not surprising. They run on bunker fuel which is a much less refined product. I study climate, so I am hardly a Stan for gas but refined hydrocarbons are much easier to filter. 1-2 catalytic converters👇🏾 noxious gasses by 90% & diesel lacks the sulphur/nitrogen .

I don’t have a cargo bike, but I fatbike every day in wintertime. Every 1-2 days I will use a plant spray bottle filled with semi-hot water and give the body a light spray and hand dry it on the way in the house–twice a week for the drivetrain. Keeps nastiness off more sensitive parts.
