I put this out at 8.0. It may be an 8.5, but I’m being cautious. First print, $400 CDN.

I just watched The Wicker Man last night and the scenery and use of colour was brilliant. An unexpected bonus was the wonderful music throughout the film.

Hey friends! I’ve been informed that someone is using my name to send fraudulent acquisition queries to authors. Please note: my outgoing work email address should be from @penguinrandomhouse.com. I will not contact you about work from any other email!

My shop is in the process of moving down the street. Ever move hundreds of boxes of comics? They’re heavy!

If you look closely, the drummer is playing bass with one hand, playing his kit with the other, and singing bang-on harmonies at the same time. Impressive!

Saw a living legend at Harvest today! I’ll admit, I teared up a couple times. I never expected to hear those songs done live. #GrahamNash #Harvest2026

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series

You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.

Did you know that Canada produces 30% more honey than it consumes, and that Canadian honey is one of the products with the extra 50% tariff? Obviously, it’s our patriotic duty to put more honey on everything. It’s great on pepperoni pizza, for instance. #BuyCanadian
