The 2026 Floral Clock celebrates the work of Trellis Scotland
The Floral Clock this year is being prepared for a grand opening this month. This year's design is to celebrate the work of Trellis Scotland which is approaching its 20th anniversary. Trellis helps more than 15,000 people each and every week in Scotland to improve their health and wellbeing through therapeutic gardening. This assists people who are recovering from long term conditions such as stroke or depression and people who have been diagnosed with cancer or dementia, and also children and younger people with additional support needs. A spokesperson for Trellis Scotland said: "With tens of thousands of small, colourful plants, the clock takes gardeners working on ladders many weeks to plant, and is trimmed, weeded and watered throughout the season.
