The Climate Dogs stand in solidarity with Laurie Leach and our Political Dog family. We ALL oppose violence against women. We believe women deserve respect, especially when reporting potential sexual assault. Jane Doe deserved better from Cornell. Support women. Support groups like RAINN.org.

To a transactional hustler, only money talks. So Donald Trump's solution to his abysmal polls is to offer money. With various promises, he's up to $5590. But that's not enough to buy a priceless vote. This year, your vote counts more than ever. Vote early. Vote safely.

More consequences from climate change are coming. The West Coast faces six months of Kelvin Waves, which are the result of warming Pacific water. There are still climate deniers, but denial won't stop the half-foot waves and coastal flooding.

Donald Trump loves Gold and has added it to the White House to satisfy his taste for opulence. That display of wealth while the economy is struggling seems to be another example of a President being out of touch. His "friends" reinforce it, but it is a disconnect with reality.

Despite some unfounded conspiracy theories, vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective. Yes, you should check with your doctor if you have any questions. But most people, under most circumstances, are protected - and thus protect others. Time for your Flu and Covid shots.

Donald Trump tries to portray the economy as booming. He just told reporters that "everybody is twice as wealthy because of me." His friends and family are getting rich, but not everyone is benefitting from Trump's economy. The Dogs feel it too.

As President Trump's polls sink, he is resorting to everything he can do to gain an advantage. Trying to stifle free speech and threaten free elections. Now he is using a 2024 campaign TV Ad - but calling it a PSA and having Taxpayers pay for it. Where is the pushback? Another reason to VOTE!

The US Ambassador to China said that during the recent talks with President Xi, Donald Trump offered to sell weapons to China. As bizarre and dangerous as that idea is, it makes no military sense. It creates the potential of our weapons being used by China against Taiwan, which also has our weapons.

President Trump is very proud of his accomplishments. He accelerated construction of the helipad. He loves the gold trim in the White House. And he raves about the ballroom. So, like kids of all ages, he couldn't wait to show them off to President Xi.

It's a great time of year in sports - with WNBA and Baseball Playoffs, NFL and College Football underway, and NBA not far away. Our guys love sports - and were thrilled Washington won a big game after losing its great QB to injury and starting the season 0-2. But sports has thrills - and agonies.

As Donald Trump works to suppress the free press, he banned CNN, MSNOW, and Politico. A Court reinstated them, but Trump doesn't take "No" for an answer. But then he criticized them for not covering him in his moment of glory. He seems to forget his actions have consequences.

OK! It's time to vote in many locations. Voting early makes it easier. It is absolutely safe. You can usually vote in person at a central location, or even easier, by mail. If you get sick or if there is a big snowstorm, you don't have to worry. EVERY VOTE COUNTS! Make your plan and vote now.

Hot off the Press at 1:00 AM! Judge rules that CNN, MSNOW, and Politico cannot be excluded from the White House Briefing Room and Press Pool. Although an obvious ruling, it is encouraging to know some parts of the Constitution are working! Another ruling against the former Teflon President.

The "Name Game" continues as the Trump Ego wants his name in prominent places. I don't envy his aides having to navigate the process. Rumor today is that some advisors are considering adding the Trump name to another iconic theater. In this scenario, the aides in the room won. Stay tuned....

There may be another explanation for Donald Trump threatening to tear down the Kennedy Center. It may not be his petty ego or grand delusions. Is it possible he has a learning disability I call "Math Dyslexia"? He just keeps jumbling numbers? That could explain a lot - if only it were that simple...

000

TheClimateDog by Mark @theclimatedog.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

The Kennedy Center drama could be played out on the stages inside - if they were open. Donald Trump's ego is a psychiatric case study -- his ego is outpacing our logic. It seems to be spinning out of control. He still has his enablers, but can he save himself from his own ego?

It is rare that the small wedding of a President's son would have hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on it by a Russian Oligarch and friend of Putin. Rich Russians and President's families don't go together. But AG Blanche sees no reason to investigate. "If you don't ask, you don't know."

Politicians often offer great benefits if only the voter would elect him or her. But Donald Trump just took this to a new low. With no consultation, he promised a big cash bonus if the GOP wins. It would add $1.2 Trillion to the deficit. But this President loves talking about spending our money.

Donald Trump continues to re-write history. He has lied about his role in 9-11 before. But this year, he added a whopper. He claimed he led his team to help respond on 9-11. It's a brand new claim with absolutely no evidence. But liars lie - and this adds to his long list of very troubling lies.

The US has had sanctions on Iran since the start of the war, but recently, Treasury Secy. Bessent declared new sanctions that were the equivalent of D-Day. Our nice lady gave it a very low grade: D-. And our Dog explained why such a low grade - and why General Eisenhower would be dismayed.

Trump loves insults and is trying to define the 2026 election as "us vs. the Commies." The Red Scare has worked some in the past. Richard Nixon won his first big election with it in 1946! But Trump's limited knowledge of history lumps all enemies together in a jumble-that might not work this time.
