Just tried the new AC Rally update... It's now probably the best feeling rally game I've experienced! I'm crashing far less because I feel a lot more in control compared to other rally sims. New photo mode is nice too!

After almost 2000 hours of use, one of my VR lighthouses has died a death! Something mechanical has gone in it. I can still use the other one on its own, but given they're the same age it's probably not got long left too! 🫣

It is now rotated... Cabling (properly) is in progress along with some 3D printed USB hub brackets to go with the cable clips. Still need to figure out power and where a 2nd screen is going to go.

000

theCHRISish @thechrisish.tv · 31/07/2026

More BVTCC races happened tonight. 😁 Quali: 3rd - 1st and 2nd in a league of their own! Race 1: 🥉 - Took option hard tyres in this race and held on! Race 2: 🥇 - Top 2 took their hards here, so a controlled victory! Race 3: 🥈 - Screenshot from final lap for the win, but the BMW held on!

Apparently you're not meant to go side by side through the corkscrew... I enjoyed my return to LMU streams last night, but for now it's a bit of a one-off while I rebuild some confidence. Last night was some great and some not so great driving. I'll get there, just need time. 🙂

3 out of 3, all in a nights work!🏆🏆🏆 Race 1 was full wet, race 2 started dry but with a wet track then rained. Race 3 (my only slick race) started damp but no rain falling - slicks felt like a gamble! Just what I've needed after a tough few months of racing.
