Its the only one I've seen so far that has a nice UI and doesn't obviously focus on comics while neglecting webnovels

The worst part about this whole tapas situation is that webnovel authors, especially us indies, still get the short end of the stick. We have a very limited pool of where to post webnovels and most people wouldn’t even give them a chance :///

I am writing a full document on Tapas & how they treated writers, misleading contest rules, biased discord moderators, & constant dogpiling. Tapas was a place for indie authors to post their stories but instead was a toxic environment. If any of you have experienced this, DM me. It will be anonymous

Also!! Another quick note!! If you’re a lurker, I really appreciate you!! I’m a lurker too!! But numbers are so deceiving and sometimes they just get in my head. I appreciate everyone who comes into my streams! 💜💜💜💜🦒

But for now, streams will be irregular. This probably won’t even be a sad announcement for anyone. But I hope if you are someone who enjoys my streams, you’ll support my YouTube channel and my growth!! (7/7)

I have almost 7 weeks of YouTube content recorded. Recording allows me to focus better on the game and making an entertaining video. My editor (!!) is also doing an amazing job!! Idk if it’ll do well, but I want to try. And maybe I can go back to streaming regularly (6/7)

when experimenting with times, it’s still the same. I know I should get more VODs edited into clips, and all that, but I just don’t think I’m entertaining in streams. My VOD channel doesn’t even have 100 subs But I’m not giving up!! (5/7)

3. Viewership I know. “Don’t look at the numbers!”. But, to be completely transparent, all my recent non collab streams have had 3 or less viewers and no chatters. It’s disheartening and I just feel very alone. I know that can be due to the time I stream, but- (4/7)

Syd 🦒✍🏼| Writer & Voice Director @thechosengiraffe.itch.io · 25/08/2026

2. Time Recently, I’ve been feeling like I’ve been running out of time and streaming late just isn’t working anymore but I feel anxious streaming during the day feeling like im going to miss something. Idk why I feel this way 😭 but it leads me to my 3rd point (3/7)

Syd 🦒✍🏼| Writer & Voice Director @thechosengiraffe.itch.io · 25/08/2026

1. Work I work a lot and on my days off, I find it really hard to get up and find the energy to go live and act like I’m not exhausted from constant customer service and stress behind the scenes. It makes it harder for me to stream when I just wanna sleep (2/7)

Syd 🦒✍🏼| Writer & Voice Director @thechosengiraffe.itch.io · 25/08/2026

You’ll probably see me shifting to YouTube for playthroughs and long form content in the near future. I love streaming and I’ve enjoyed the recent collabs I’ve been doing, but streaming alone has become really draining and discouraging for a couple of reasons (1/7)

I was watching WHA with my mom and I said “I’d go with any hot man witch” and my mom said it sounded like I said manwich (like the sloppy joes) so Qifrey is now known as manwich in my house
