I get the whys … but I’m so tired in my chronic illness and pain journey of the ruling out methods.. also diabetes can also cause carpal tunnel so like.. why not just do both at once? I’m in so much pain I really don’t want to drag this out way longer than it needs to be

The Celestial Ferret @thecelestialferret.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Managed to get my pcp appt moved to tomorrow to look at my hands and hopefully get me a referral to see an ortho for them.. tho they’ll likely have me do a diabetes test first. Yeah carpal tunnel and diabetes symptoms overlap but I’m very certain it’s not diabetes 🫩

❌ “Why didn’t you just…” Condescending, assumes the person who actually lived through the thing never tried the first solution that comes to mind ✅ “What stopped you from…” Bit more respectful, assumes the person had a sentient human brain that tried to problem solve, curiosity over judgement

WHAT IF I told you, I’m not just writing about gay vampires and werewolves, but another WIP of a sapphic fire nymph who becomes a skilled swordsmen and exploring the world like a newborn deer but is constantly fooled due to her naivety with said world? What would you do then?! 🤔

Lot of people asking why my vtuber rig moves well and its all about performance, you got to bring your character to life and not many people actually perform when they make videos or stream. Same principle for non vtuber streamers.

Cancel culture is so much worse now too, it’s so hard to post anything about your art process (or just in gen.) without getting roasted. Oh mooo a reference?! THATS HOW PEOPLE LEARN no one knows how to draw anatomy without one!!?

A little shameless repost, but with a bit more to go off of — this won’t just be another vampire dark romance. With myself suffering from chronic illnesses and mental health issues, I’m putting that realism into my fictional writing as well. How vampires process trauma and ptsd just as we do.

It took me way longer than I’d like to admit to make this little synopsis so folks can get a good idea of what we’re currently working on. I’m very bad at simplifying things & the ADHD kicks in to the point of over explaining so I had help from others in editing it too, but! I finally did it! 😂

AI could never take the pride I get from achieving something whether artistically or in writing or anything else, knowing I did it with my own two hands and my own brain. Like I just got way too giddy over how well I’m rendering some MOONLIT CLOUDS. AI could never have that joy.

Soooo any other (comic/graphic novel) artists who end up turning their ‘just because’ pieces into panels later? Or that just me rn? 😅 everything that’s starting as concept art or just sketches I end with thinking ‘this would make a fantastic panel when this very specific scene happens’

The synopsis for Book 1 is in the making, and a possible teaser excerpt as well that I hope will serve as a catalyst for peaking more interest. It’s not directly from the first book, or even second, but even further in the future to sparks questions and intrigue. Stay tuned ~! ✨

Gotten a little quiet over the last week or two, after a bunch of post bombing basically. Took a little self care break so as to not totally burn myself out from the get - go, and now recovering from poison sumac from yard work 💀 but! I have been working on more text based content! —
