You'd hope so, but a lot of 'the quiet ones' are experts at staying out of sight and at the edges of groups, to avoid notice and human contact. Then there are those duties like guarding the recycling bins that are enough to make anyone reconsider renewing their contract.

Labs use Class A, borosilicate glass. It's good glass, but if you're not careful it breaks because it's glass. I regularly had customers buying extra lab glass and coming back for more because of accidents. They use the glass because it's less chemically reactant, not because it's tough.

US prisons are scams. You scoop up people from urban districts and their demographics now count towards a rural district, where the prison is and they can't vote, along with resulting funding and programs for having more people, while the urban district loses those numbers towards needed funding.
