Bad news for set builders, too. 8 cards a pack isn’t new, but one is a mini, and one is an insert, meaning 6 base cards a pack, times 18, means only 108 cards per hobby box to build your 300 card set. Good news is the SP’s are gone, and there seems to be less mini inserts this year.

No more short print base set cards. Foil Filagrees still 1:24 packs, but, a hobby box only has 18 packs now instead of the former 24. Odds for most “hits” are worse. Only two “hits” per hobby box, down from three in 2024. All for $20 more than last year. And $10 more than the year before that.
